Good sound
Really nice headset. Used it a few times... Wish there was a mechanism that holds the mouthpiece in one place. It flops down occasionally. Otherwise would get 5 stars.

Excellent sounding mic
Used for a school play. A very nice mic, and robust. Sounded well when EQ'd properly.

Faulty
Sent this back as it had a very bad intermittent connection, couldn't use it. Ended up buying a Behringer BD440.

Great for speeches
I've been testing the KIMAFUN Professional Over-Ear Hanging Condenser Headset Microphone (HC-810), specifically for use with Shure wireless bodypack transmitters. One of the most important aspects for this type of microphone is compatibility, and I can confirm that this model, with its Mini XLR TA4F plug, integrates seamlessly with a wide range of Shure wireless systems, including common ones like the GLX-D, BLX, SLX, and ULX. It's crucial to note that this microphone is designed specifically for Shure, so it won't work with other brands due to differing wiring. Also, as a condenser mic, it needs phantom power from your wireless bodypack, which Shure units typically provide. In terms of performance, the audio quality is quite clear and natural. The omnidirectional condenser picks up sound well from all angles, which is beneficial for dynamic speakers or performers who might turn their head. For presentations, lectures, and theatrical use, having a hands-free solution that delivers clear voice reproduction is paramount, and the HC-810 does a good job here. The design is lightweight and relatively discreet, with a beige color option that helps it blend in. The ear hook is flexible and can rotate 360 degrees for comfortable placement and easy storage. The detachable mic head can also be switched between left and right ears, adding to its versatility. While some users have reported minor concerns about the durability of the plastic clips on the cord, for its price point, it offers a satisfying balance of sound quality and practical features, making it a viable option for professionals and pro-sumers alike.

Works really well for presenting, not good enough quality for singing, but speaking is fine
I’ve been using this KIMAFUN headset microphone for a while now, and it’s been a great tool for presentations and lectures. The sound quality is clear and consistent when speaking, and the omnidirectional condenser picks up my voice well without needing me to stay perfectly still. It’s lightweight and comfortable, with a flexible ear hook that stays in place even during longer sessions. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for singing or any applications that require high-fidelity audio. The clarity is fine for speaking, but it lacks the depth and range needed for music performances. That being said, it’s perfect for its intended purpose as a headset for speeches, teaching, or theatre work where voice projection is key. Compatibility was straightforward with my Shure wireless bodypack transmitter, and the 3.9-foot cable length is ideal for freedom of movement. I also like that the microphone head can be switched between left and right, making it versatile for different users. Overall, this is an excellent microphone for presentations or other speaking engagements. If you’re looking for something that’s comfortable, reliable, and easy to use for those purposes, it’s a solid choice. Just don’t expect studio-quality performance for singing or music.

Good product
Here's a review for the KIMAFUN HC-810 headset microphone: --- I recently ordered the KIMAFUN Professional Over-Ear Hanging. This microphone is compatible with Shure wireless bodypack transmitters, which makes it an easy addition to my setup. I use it mainly for presentations and lectures, and I’m impressed with both its sound quality and comfort. The sound is clear and picks up my voice well without any distortion or unwanted noise, even in larger spaces. The over-ear design keeps it stable, so I don’t have to worry about it shifting around, and it’s lightweight enough that I barely notice I’m wearing it. The mic also does a good job minimizing background noise, which is perfect for live performances or recordings. For £59.99, this headset offers quality that rivals some of the more expensive brands. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, and works well in various environments, from classrooms to theater stages. I would recommend this microphone to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable headset for presentations, performances, or even streaming.

I have owned a Shure wireless guitar/ microphone system for years and about a year ago I got a SM35 headset mic to use for the freedom of singing while playing guitar without the need to use a mic stand. I was disappointed with the bulkiness and poor sound quality of the SM35. On a cruise ship I heard the singer / dancers who were obviously performing with almost invisible headset mics so after the show I asked the sound techs what the performrrs were using. They were wearing DPA units which I learned were about $1000- 1500 per set. Way out of my price range. Read the reviews and decided to give the Kimafun headset a try. Wow this unit came in a very nice zippered case, beautifully packaged and overall the quality seems excellent. I put it through a Midas MR 18 PA digital mixer and Yamaha power amo/ speakers and after a little while setting the pre-amp gains I was amazed at the lovely clear full range sound of this mic! I had read some reviews about feedback issues and its only been 24 hours since I got the headset but so far I'm very impressed. The specs say frequency response is 20-20KHz - I am no sound tech expert but I doubt that range is truly realistic but the depth and clarity of sound was amazing compared to the Shure SM35 and equally as good as singing into a regular cardioid vocal mic on a stand!
