I love this one the most out of maybe 10+ or ...
lets just start out by saying I have bought many, many phone holders!!!I love this one the most out of maybe 10+ or so holdersI have a Samsung galaxy note 4My car is a 2012 ford Edge limited the dash board is textured and I have had problems with the suction cup on all of them working. Until I bought this one I have had this item for over a month and it is still holding... What I like about this holder is that I can have it sit forward and low on my dashboard. It is right above my radio and a little below the heating vents. This holder holds my note 4 perfect with a swarovski battery cover. This battery cover is on the heavy side and I have had my S-view case on as well . It holds with no problems. Because of my power and volume button I have the phone sitting high up in the holder. I can have it fully extendedwith no problems. This thing can swivel so I have it set just right in the sweet spot...I will give an update and maybe send some picturesmy sweet spot .. I don't like my phone on the dash or on the window so this works for me... And son't get me wrong this will stick on windows LOL

I like this product alot
I like this product alot. Due to some of bad reviews, I was skeptical about this product at the begining but I decided to give it a try. I placed this on my front windshield at the left side of the steering wheel. It was rock solid. I have had this for more than 1 month now and it is still there without any issues at all. I hate when people leave bad reviews on good product like this...Surprisingly, this product came without any instructions, but it was easy to figure it out.I searched this product for my Galaxy S5 but I noticed it could work with any cell phone.I placed my cell phone little bit up on the holding part since it pushes its side buttons. Still it holds very firm! Just make sure you tighten the back screw nob with a coin. It will not move after just one adjsutment. This will be a great holiday gift if you are not decided yet.It is very good product and I am enjoying it.

Works, but... It brings the irritation too!
Well, it works, but imperfectly.First, the pros, it has a fantastic suction cup to attach to your windshield, second, it looks good and is stylish. Now for the cons, the grabber that grips the phone is irascible and difficult to operate, even with two hands! This is perhaps my biggest complaint, its hard to put the phone into the grabber and its even harder to get it out.Three, the grabber swivel head adjustment ball portion requires a freaking screwdriver to tighten it?! (Seriously!)Also, the thing just flops around even when you traverse mildly bumpy roads, and this is really irritating too, because its already difficult enough just to get the adjustment right in the first place. Conclusion: I've not tried another holder but cannot recommend this one without the caveat that it is not designed to hold your phone up, and instead almost requires that the weight of your phone be externally supported by laying on the dashboard or whatever.

Don't waste your money, it will break within a few months.
Worked great, fantastic even, until it broke for no reason. The inside of the section of the unit that actually grips the phone is made of cheap, low quality plastic parts and they broke so it no longer holds my phone. None of the parts can be replaced as they're specialty parts and supposed to be part of the unit itself.

Nice with an Odyssey 2011
I purchased this about a month ago. It's been stuck to my windshield ever since. I had to move it several times to get thw position just right so even after that it has stayed in place. I like the versatility of this also. The only con I can see with this is the piece that actually holds the phone. Its spring loaded and may not hold up too well with lots of use. I cant say for sure though since I've only had it a month.

Good for recommendation
It's from Korea though it is made by china. The item was in a transparent box with seal. It has a warranty certificate if ever the item is defective. The item is rigid and stable as I can see. It can hold a smartphone with 55mm to 95mm screens. It can be rotated 360 degrees for viewing angle. You can adjust the length of the arm and swing it to the right or left for your convenience. Though I think it's a little expensive but I can say that it's really worth it.

Spring action phone-holder part broke - after seeing inside, am SHOCKED that it lasted 15 months!
I have an S5 with Otterbox Commuter case, and this unit had no problem holding my phone. I really enjoyed the articulating arm and how I could use it in the flat area by clock of my 2008 Accord. I never had significant problems with adhesive/suction mount - in summer heat it came off a few times, but each time it remounted quite securely. However, at 15 months, just today the spring mechanism broke so it won't "hug" any phone anymore. I opened up the phone-holding end of the mount, and found that a SMALL plastic part that compresses the spring had broken. The part was only about 2 millimeters across, and it's a pretty strong spring. Attaching photos - arrow points to place on frame arm that part mounts to, and circle is around the part itself. Given that it is all plastic parts in there, and an incredibly small junction surface, this is not anything that superglue could be expected to repair. Before today, I would have strongly recommended this unit, but after seeing the insides, I am quite surprised that it lasted 15 months, and I cannot recommend this at all. Gave it a second star just because I was lucky and did get to use it for over a year before my unit succombed to the cheap workmanship.

It can totally handle a large phone with a case!
This is the second one of these that I have had (I broke the first one by dropping my huge purse on it). They defy gravity. I have an older Honda Pilot that has no place for a phone. I can't stand to have my view obscured by anything on the windshield. I place the suction cup on the smooth underside of my ashtray in my center console and IT STAYS! I've used a Galaxy Note 3 and a Galaxy 7 Edge in it and it can totally handle a large phone with a case! The pivot arm is awesome. The telescoping part of the arm is awesome. I reposition the phone quite a bit and it does not seem to affect the suction much. I think I've had to reattached it maybe two times in 6 months, which is not a big deal since I have it hanging upside down and I constantly move it between portrait and landscape position. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
