My boy has braces on and he practices karate, his sensei told him about this mouth guard and we are very happy with it. It was very easy to set it up, it didn't mess with his braces. Comfortable to wear during lessons. Safe to wear and looks very cool. Sturdy and durable material.

Really nicely packaged and really well made. After following the instructions, getting this mouthguard moulded and in place was surprisingly easy (this is my second time doing it). I'm pleased with the fit (and the look of the Venom styling - it looks pretty menacing) and feel like it'll offer great protection for kickboxing. I was a little worried about gagging, or having it press too far into the back of my mouth, but no problems with that so far. I also appreciated this coming with a case to store them in. Excellent.My only issue is with the pricing. My other Marvel mouthguard by the same brand was £16.99, yet this one is priced at £22.99 (at time of this review) and that's a big difference. I'm not against paying more for this type of product because it's an important bit of kit - as they say, it's far cheaper to buy and wear a mouthguard than it is going to the dentist. But I'd suggest checking whether you need the extra "brace guard" this product offers and, if not, do a quick search to see if there's a cheaper option for the same branded mouthguard that'll suit your particular needs.Pricing aside, though, I can see any guy or gal of a any age LOVING having a Venom styled mouthguard to wear for their full-contact sports. Recommended.

Having a couple of teenages in the house who need mouthguards for some high school sports and their martial arts, I was really quite pleased to pick up this particularly cool Venom guard for one of them to try. We already have another Marvel guard that has worked really well, so we had similar high hopes for this one.As with our other guard, this one didn't disappoint. It's easy enough to mould and I appreciate it being able to be remodelled if you don't get the right fit first time. I was a little concerned when it arrived and it said it was for wearing with braces as my eldest doesn't have one and I didn't think it would stay in place. I hadn't seen that detail in the listing but it is there (I just missed it). However, it has been worn for a few judo sessions so far (before going back to school in September to use at rugby training) and it has thankfully performed very well in addition to being comfortable to wear.It's a little on the pricey side for one of these guards (currently around £23 at the time of the review) and I'm not sure why as our other Marvel guard from the same maker wasn't this much, but it is very good quality and if it works to save hundreds on dental visits from any potential damage then it's value is worth much more!
