On my first glance through the book I was impressed. The writer clearly has both experience in the salon business, and business in general. Her treatment of subjects as diverse as marketing from health & safety in a salon are indicative of her detailed knowledge in the area, and also the genuine needs of a small business.The best parts are the practical tools which can save the salon owner time and money in tedious research. Excellent book

Well, as book guides go, this has to be one of the best for any Salon owner, be it Beauty or Hair Salon, the guide book does exactly that, guide you through the steps of scenarios. The most valuable asset is the hourly working rate per unit and time schedule giving you amazing advice on how to structure your business now or in the future. One small gripe at the author is the self-promoting of their own products and website selling, considering the hefty price on this book, also to find out the prices had changed on a booklet on the website from a book printed only 4 weeks ago! That aside this book is a must for any future salon owner setting out or even established businesses that need extra guidance and some valuable advice.
