(yes I am referring to that silver Wahl trimmer). That was okay for the time being until it started to break and rust away in my cabinet.This is by far the best trimmer I have ever used. You notice the quality straight out of the box. It has a good weight to it, and does not feel hollow. There are no loose bits moving around inside.Pros:- VERY good build quality- really nice LCD screen- an icon appears to tell you when to oil the blades- adjustable speed- adjustable blade length- power remaining (in minutes)- Extremely good battery life- the travel case looks awesome with the orange accent and is very high qualityCons:- your dad, your sons, brothers, granddad, uncles and friends will be jealous- someone will steal it- you will never be happy with other trimmersDefinitely recommended for anyone as this is a really good value trimmer. You get a lot for your money. Of course you could by those £20 Wahl trimmers but they are not nearly as good as this in terms of build quality and longevity.Please select 'Helpful' if this review helped you to make a purchasing decision. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great trimmer *by M***L on 22 April 2018* Everything about this trimmer feels premium.It's weighty (in a good way) and really powerful without too much noise or vibration.The attachments feel extremely solid too and lock in with a satisfying click.The battery life is brilliant compared to most cordless beard trimmers (charging issues are a common complaint with beard trimmers but this has an amazing battery and a display showing exactly how much runtime remains).The travel case is really nice but not big enough to fit everything. I managed to squeeze in 2 attachments, the oil, the brush and the trimmer itself but it is a squeeze. The charger would have to be carried separately.Just as a side-note when researching this product I notice that some people really struggle to reattach the head if they remove it so I'd recommend not bothering. You can clean and oil the blades without taking the head off so perhaps save yourself the hassle.All in all though these are way better than previous trimmers I've owned. They cut really well... This falls in the extremely good category.I had a philips previously and this is on another level. Everything about it is great, the battery lasts 2 hours on the highest setting; the beard cutting ability is great, giving an even cut throughout; it is extremely easy to hold and use; comes with a great travel case and charging holder; it is relatively quiet, it does make noise but it is not excessive.
