A normal person's knife.
Carry a knife. You don't want your plans thwarted by packaging sealed with a magical spell. Millennia of human technological advancement has made a sharp blade our birthright.Carry this Victorinox if you trust your fellow man. Carry this knife to tell the civilians and NPC's you're not prepping for the doom of mankind. It's fine. We still live in a world where we are going to be opening up hotdog packages and cutting tags off Amazon Essentials office slacks for a while longer. We'll have that much luck.

Wallet carry
This is a very well done, very thin, very well built pocket knife.Absolutely perfect for carrying in a wallet easily for any small daily task that may come up.No unnecessary extra goofy tools here. Just a simple single well done blade that will do just about anything you need to do without being a Rambo. Classy and useful little piece. Jeans or slacks. Wallet or purse. It’s all good .

Good Size, Very Handy
The Vic Solo (No. 1) is a great size for a single blade pocket knife. The 93 mm alox knives have a thicker blade than the Celador models making them very sturdy knives, and the blade is a good length for lots of cutting tasks. Despite being thin the Solo is not too thin, still retaining enough thickness to be comfortable to grip and safe to hold. Still, it is thin and light enough to be unnoticeable in your pocket. I think the backspring on the 93 mm models is also a bit heavier than the Celador models, but it's not hard to open, and it snaps open and shut with that satisfying Victorinox click. I can even pinch it open if I really try. I have a Fieldmaster for all those random cutting, sawing, prying, opening, and scissoring tasks and plan to keep my Solo relatively "clean" for use mainly on food. So far in its first day it has performed well for slicing strawberries, peaches, and sourdough bread, and I can tell the blade is long enough to handle cantaloupe and pineapple, too.

The red pocket knive's older, solid brother
So if you know knives you know the Swiss army pocket knives from Victorinox. They are well made and if you give them minimum care - they will survive forever. The red scales with the silver Swiss cross and stainless smooth blades are highly recognized everywhere but their older, somewhat more upscale brothers come with aluminium knurled scales - while the blades and functions remain the same. Their good, scratch less and can be dropped numerous times with no fear of cracks and breaks on the scales.

Not as thin as alox bantam, still great.
The media could not be loaded. Thicker profile than expected but still great quality of victorinox alox. Kind of hard to open and close but sharp as ever and great scales. I love the novelty of a Swiss Army knife with only one function.

My favorite pocket knife by far.
Perfect pocket knife. If you want to buy a pocket knife for someone who doesn't have one this is very easy to get used to carrying. And before long it becomes essential. In fact this is the third one because it's so comfortable I forget and carry it to the airport.
