Great quality for the price
I was a little skeptical about purchasing this lens but I must say I love it I use it with a canon EOS 4000D the quality is great image quality is great keep in mind there’s no autofocus this is a manual lens it’s a bit heavy if you have a steady hand great if not I suggest using a tripod other than that it’s very easy to use

Great lens for the value for a beginner to see if they want to invest more into an auto-focus lens.
Great product for the price. I was finally able to take some pictures of the moon. Can't wait till it comes into full moon phase for more pictures. I will be glad to pick up an auto focus model sometime, but for now at this price, it works great. Don't judge the picture quality, it was my first attempt at photographing the moon. I am sure I have much to learn, but this lens will make it possible for me to do that.

Great lens
I was wary about using a non-brand-name lens with my Canon DSLR, but this lens is great. It does not interface with the auto-focus on the camera, so it's manual-focus only, and you have to manually adjust fstop and aperture, but that's kinda the point with a DSLR anyway -- ultimate control over exposure. My only caution is that because it does not have image stabilization use a tripod and a timer to take your pictures. This is not a lens for action shots! By using the timer, you give the camera a few seconds to settle down after pressing the shutter release. (I suppose you could also use a remote shutter release, but I don't have one of those.)The price point was excellent which is what made me decide to try this lens. It comes packaged in its own protective sleeve with a place to mount the lens to your tripod which helps make it more stable.

Fun to have for the price, but...
So it's very cheap for a giant lens, and I'd say get it if you don't already have a long zoom and don't plan to pay 10x for a good one. They aren't the greatest lenses. Not super sharp and lots of color fringe. NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE, but not great. The main reason it doesn't do much for me is because the overall finished output with this low end zoom lens, matched to a good R100 body, is very similar to the quality of pictures I get with an older Panasonic bridge model. Good lens + mini sensor holds up very well against a good APS-C sensor with a bargain lens. And the bridge camera has image stabilizing and auto focus for a very convenient shooting experience. However, if you don't already have an old-but-good super zoom bridge camera sitting around, you can't just go get one for this price. So factor in all of that. It's going to be one of the cheapest lenses you buy for a mirrorless camera, and it does provide a function you can't get easily otherwise.

Not good
Poor. Hard to focus although the lens look like they are well made. Don't recommend unless you're shooting for the moon....
