Information is displayed quickly, very helpful with finicky plants
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this one over others because it has a tilting head, I have some taller plants that are full and seeing inside the leaves was hard-this made it easy. It is fast to give the information and covers everything I needed, soil moisture, ph levels (important for finicky plants), sunlight intensity and soil temperature. I don't pay attention to the soil temperature so that doesn't matter to me. It is fast when you switch it from plant to plant. The instructions do not tell you how to adjust the PH value, so I just use it as it is but that may be important for some plants. I love that I am able to retain the correct moisture and PH level, my plants are so much happier! This is really helpful for plant happiness!Durability:It seems to be well-made, it is a good size for all of the plants, unfortunately it cannot put it in water, I start my clippings in water-that would be useful in testing the PH levels.

Perfect all in one tool!
This 4-in-1 Soil Moisture Meter has completely changed the way I care for my garden and outdoor plants. It’s incredibly easy to use and gives me fast, accurate readings on everything I need — soil moisture, temperature, pH level, and sunlight intensity — all in one sleek device with a super clear backlit LCD screen. What I love most is how it helps me take the guesswork out of plant care. I can check exactly when to water, if my soil needs adjusting, or if a plant needs more or less sun. It’s especially useful for delicate plants or when I’m planting something new and want to make sure conditions are just right.

Works as intended but not great for gauging when to water
It works as intended, but I was primarily hoping to use it as a more precise indication of when and how much to water, especially for my indoor houseplants. It's almost too accurate for this- it will display the moisture reading for exactly where the probe is. That means that I can move it a cm down, up, or to the sides and the reading might be different. Interesting data that my soil doesn't spread moisture evenly, but not the data I was looking for.

Favorite new gadget
I upgraded my garden/soil tester to this one and boy am I pretty happy. My last one wasn't digital - it was a dial that would move and having a digital one honestly makes this so stress free. We found out our soil was SUPER nitrogen deficient and we took it in to account and took care of the issue. I also tend to OVER water and this helped me significantly. No issues, and with gardening being one of my favorite hobbies, this saved me a lot!

Excellent tool for any gardener!
This 4-in-1 soil moisture meter has been incredibly useful for monitoring my plants both indoors and out. The LCD display is easy to read, even in bright sunlight, and I love that it measures not just moisture, but also pH, temperature, and light levels. It gives me a much better understanding of what each plant needs, and I’ve already noticed improvements in growth and overall health. Sturdy, accurate, and simple to use... definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend for gardeners at any level!

Simple meter , but works well at it's advertised functions
This soil meter is relatively simple and the light-measuring function is kinda silly, but maybe useful for some. The pH meter seems to be roughly accurate against pH test strips and soil kits as does the soil moisture meter. The instructions could use a little more QA/QC in terms of engrish text but oh well.. the thing works well enough. For about ~$25 I think this is probably worth it.. if you had to spend too much more you might want to get a nicer meter.

Handy pH measurement
Well this just confirmed that my soil is the reason why my bush isn't healthy. It's next to 2 other bushes that are green and lively, but this one is half-brown and dry. I tried extra watering and nothing helped. I just received this a few hours ago and it's really easy to just pop in batteries and stick it in the ground. I tested several spots in my yard and it's quite accurate. Really helpful!

Build quality great, but inaccurate moisture readings
I wanted to love this product so much, I’m a new grower and not too versed in plant management. The main feature was water levels, but I get such wild swings in my data I don’t know what to trust. It was reading 50-60% wet for over 22 days with a medium size tomato plant in a 3 gallon planter. The plant took a nose dive, and after I gave it a huge soak it bounced back. The biggest reason for returning is that before the aforementioned heavy watering, it was reading 45-55% and after adding 2liters of water it was still reading 55-60%Another big disappointment was with the light sensor, since I’m using it for an indoor garden. My LED lights seem ok, but I know they are dim - yet this was reading MAX on the light scale. Consulting the manual I found it’s not suited for artificial light, and was only accurate for natural sun, so again it feel short of my needs. The moisture reading issues could be from my soil type, inexperience, or any other combo of factors - HOWEVER - when I got a $6 cheap analog water tester it was reading 2-3 (dry) before the soak, and 7-8 (heavy moist/ low wet) after words… which was much more in line with what I expected.Outside of the function, the build quality seems nice - but the only draw back is it needed 4x AAA batteries. For the price I would have hoped it had a tiny rechargeable battery and USB, but that is just personal preference. Your mileage may very, but for me - I’ll stick to the tried and true analog version at a fraction of the cost until I can find a more accurate digital one for my needs.
