I love my water filter, but my water is so hard that I have to change filters more often than I would in an area with softer water. That can get very expensive.This water filter replacement set offers a perfect solution. You get two of the black carbon filter and 2 flouride filters in the kit. These fit my Patriot Pure filter and I assume they would fit Berkey and Alexapro as well. You could also use these to build your own emergency water filter system using a five gallon bucket.Although I cannot cut them open and look inside (although I probably will after I've used them) they seem do a good job at improving the taste. My TDS meter indicates they remove much, but not all of the total dissolved solids. You'd have to have your water tested to know precisely how good a job these do. But they seem good to me and I've been filtering my water for years.Pro tip: To extend the life of your expensive carbon filters, use a cheap Brita-type filter as a pre-filter. This will help your filters last longer by removing at least some contaminants.

These are a great option for Berkley filter replacement. They are easy to install and so far work well. I can only take their word for the water quality. There is no noted taste. It is a good value. I would recommend and purchase again.

The title pretty much says it all. These are smaller and significantly lighter than my proprietary Berkey filters, but those are crazy expensive and always on backorder. These, instead, are available and work well. They definitely won't last as long as the Berkey ones do (those last YEARS), but they'll do for a good, long time, and more importantly, they're in stock. I'm very happy with these.

Installed on my Berkey knock off which is effectively exactly like a Berkey. These filters fit just great and I'm glad they came with new rubber washers for a tight seal. So far they are doing a great job of filtering my water.

These replacement filters resemble closely the Berkey Brand filters for less cost. My only concern is that lab testing needs to be conducted to see if these are close to the Berkey Brand, which removes 99.9% of all contaminants in drinking water. (I highly recommend each and every one of you filter your drinking water because there are a surprising number of contaminants and toxins in tap water, and microplastics in bottled water).
