Paint worked great was hard to get off actually but came off within the day.

I ordered this BOBISUKA Black Face Body Paint, Water Based Face Painting for Art Theater Halloween Party Cosplay Clown body paint to add to my family’s costume collection.My family loves costumes. I was an actor for years until a broke my neck during a chaotic tech. My husband still works on Broadway, and our teenager is at LaGuardia (NYC’s “fame” high school) training for a stage career. Our house is full of costumes. Need a doublet, a petticoat, a cape or corset or villain mustache or rubber chicken or Merry Widow hat? Done, done, and done. We’ve got it all, from inflatable Grimace to authentic period swords and weaponry.So, needless to say, with Halloween on the way, we’re gearing up for our favorite time of year. We dress up the house, our yard, and ourselves in a big way.I wanted to try this water-based black body paint because it can be difficult to balance getting good coverage in a dark colored face/body paint and easy clean up. The alcohol based paints give excellent coverage in the darker toned colors, but they can last a few days, and do a real number on your costume/clothing/sheets and towels.I was pleasantly surprised with this black body/face paint. Because it was water based, I assumed it would be difficult to get good coverage. This goes on easily, and you can get a pretty smooth finish, with a little care. Of course, since this is a deep black, it isn’t perfect—you can see some finger or sponge marks from application, though if you’re careful and patient, you can smooth a lot of this out.The clean up was so much better than I expected. It does take a little time, and some good old fashioned scrubbing with soap and water, but in the end, there were no towels destroyed in the process.The two ounce bottle holds a fair amount of body paint. We did some tests and still have plenty left over for Halloween. The paint is a deep, dark black. It applies fairly smoothly and covers skin well. It can be difficult to find black face/body paint that isn’t watery/slightly see-through. This does the job well.A great addition to our costume collection. I love the deep, dark coverage, the rich black color, and the ease of clean up (good old soap and water does the trick.)

I ordered purple paint and it arrived separated and chunky/watery like an old yogurt cup that fell out of your grocery bag and it sat in your trunk all summer and then burst open on the trunk liner. It wouldn’t integrate no matter what I did. Don’t bother.

Used this with another brand's black paint for skull make up, and it worked great!The white is a little thin, so it did apply it a bit thicker than some other paints, but it was a solid color once all in place.Washed off well with soap and water.

We used this for a Halloween costume. For low priced consumer makeup, we were very happy with our results. It went on easily and also washed off fairly easily. With some creativity and online tutorials, we were able to get really nice results. This is not professional level makeup but it is worlds better than the stuff that was available in the past. The price is such that you could buy extra in case you make any mistakes and it is still affordable.

We are always in need of good face paint that doesn't break the bank. This is decent face paint and if you need a lot of black, I'd recommend going this route. The only problem is, it's a little thin. Otherwise, it works well.

As with any face/body paint, I tested this paint on a small patch of skin in a non-sensitive area, the back of my arm in this case, to check for irritation. This didn't cause any irritation.The black color is very dark, almost dark enough for daylight settings. It goes on smooth and doesn't crack once dry. It doesn't seem to smear once dry, and it dries within minutes. Great for face painting but probably not ideal for much else.The tube is easy to use, and the paint is easy to apply. Once applied, the paint washes off very easily in warm water. I noticed it also comes off somewhat in cold water, so don't get it wet and don't leave it open to collect moisture.I like this paint. Worth checking out.
