I’ve seen here that the lock for chain doesn’t work or breaks early on. Fortunately it works alright for me! Satisfied with my purchase soo gar

Lock for the chain was broken. Key just turned in barrel. Poor quality lock.The disc lock was ok though, a separate item.

Both items are well made, the disc lock is well loud and so easy to apply to the bike was a bit of a fiddle at first but then no probs, the carry case is a nice touch. The lock is heavy but that's understandable but Both items are a good purchase and a good deterrent to make it not so easy for your bike to be taken.

Easy to use. reasonably effective as you have an alarmed disc lock, & also a substantial{& heavy} chain with a padlock.If it moves the alarm goes off, if you can,t hear it you must be absolutely deaf. The lock & chain give a little more piece of mind & would stop opportune theft. Have used much more expensive locks & it still got nicked, but that was not alarmed. very good value for money for what you get. Bought one for myself, impressed so bought another as a gift

The kit that we received was overall good and sturdy however after the second use of the chain padlock it jammed and I couldn't unlock it and I couldn't get to work that day. Had to cut it off eventually just to get access to my bike. I would advise anyone buying this kit to get an extra and more sturdy padlock so you don't have the same problem as me.

Useless chinesium trash.Right out of the box the lock didn't work and was very stiff. After many tries the lock finally disengaged and opened.Added some WD40 thinking it was possibly just metal parts rubbing and the lock stopped engaging altogether.Some of these links in the chain are individually too light to be steel. I suspect aluminium.The alarm is not 110dB. I have one that is 98dB that is much, much louder.Just cheap Chinese-made rubbish. Avoid.

Item is fantastic for the price exactly as described and does the job it's supposed to
