The product is exactly what I wanted. The tube it comes in is durable and easy to put the parts in. My son enjoyed drawing a one off map that sprawled across this massive board. I guess the only detractor is it won’t fit on your average kitchen table.

It's a very good size for larger map areas, and the straighteners help a lot with keeping the map from curling up when in use. Very easy to use and clean. Best with alcohol-based cleaners

This is a high quality item that really works well for multiple gaming purposes. It's good for any Tabletop RPG where you need to have a quick reference for distances for movement and sight. It's also large enough to put down as your surface for tabletop wargaming and then not have to measure everything when moving troops. Dry erase markers and eraser work well and seem like they won't dry out quickly and the straightening clips are great to get everything to lie flat. Good product!

I got this to have a good travel battle mat for playing d&d. It is easy to get it flat with the included accessories and the dry erase markers help sketching out maps and terrain on the fly. I have only used it in a couple sessions, but found it very helpful. Overall I am happy with this kit.

For the most part, I like this game mat. It has two sides to allow for more flexibility for my campaigns and it's easy to draw on and erase when I make mistakes. The markers are vibrant and easy to see on the map, and the plastic guides that slide along the sides do a great job of keeping the mat from curling. I do wish two more hand been provided though, since the short ends curl without them.The other thing I wish this had was something to put over it to ensure the map doesn't get erased for two reasons: 1) sometimes we have to pause a campaign and put the map away. Rolling it up erases much of the map and 2) it's not possible to draw on both sides and flip the map for surprise or other areas, since the side placed down on the table will get erased during play on the opposite side.The biggest concern I have with this map, and the reason for deducing a star, is concerns about longevity. One corner of mine and a part of one side was already peeling out of the tube, and the edges are showing minor rippling solely from being in the tube.Still, it's a welcome kit in my house, and we'll get a lot of use out of it.

This is enormous! You could put the whole dungeon on it. I have yet to use it as I am still working out the logistics of a map that is bigger than my table! It comes with markers, an eraser, and edge stiffeners for the map. Recommended.

Measurements and sizes online don't always do something justice. My mind just can't always grasp how big something is when it is listed online. This is one of those items.It ships in a proper shipping tube, keeping the map rolled up so it will have to be unrolled and weighted down to keep it open. It comes with pseudo clips that are plastic things of a few inches long to hold the roll flat. I have seen these types of things tear a page like this, but paper weights would also work just as well.The quality of the map is good. It is not impermeable or permanent, but it is a good enough quality to be of use a few times. Overall, it is a good LARGE area map that can be used with models and figurines.

This mat is really nice and a great alternative to the vinyl mats like Chessex that can stain easily. It comes with plastic rail clips that slide onto the edges and help hold it flat, though the ends will still have some curl that you will need to lay something heavy on until it fades. I recommend rolling the mat in the way so that whichever side you are going to use most faces the outside of the tube. That way, any curl will face towards the table and be easier to deal with on the edges. The markers are simple but they erase well with the included eraser and will do until I can get a better set. I am super pleased with it!
