Lightweight and well-made
For my purposes, I love this thing.It is small, light weight and always handy.I throw it in my go-to tool work bag.It doesn't take up a lot of space, and color makes it easy to find.

This is sturdy and gets the job done. I like that it’s a brighter color so it won’t get lost, the numbers are easy to read, and provides the straight edge I need.

Great tool, I use it more than my standard speed square.
These smaller speed squares are great - easy to fit in pouch or pocket and really, large enough for many (most?) construction uses. I like the red background, makes it easy to see the numbers.Are there times when you would like the standard 6-8" version, yes. Would be a good idea to have one of those in your toolbox. But maybe sometimes you would like the 12" version too, though I don't have one of those.

It’s so hard to find a square that is true for fine woodworking without spending a lot of money. I was so pleased to find that this square is actually - square!
