A Heavy Duty Alternative
I wanted something a little more robust for my snail/shrimp nano habitat than many of the options out there that are flimsy little clip-on lights. This one has some great features and is highly adjustable. It does put out a good amount of heat, so I may need to adjust the shelving to allow for a higher reach, or move the air plant I have sticking out of the top. For now, I will mist it every couple nights and see if it is able to survive it.My favorite feature about this light is the auto-on after power loss. That way, I am able to turn it off and on with a timer switch. Other push-button varieties tend to remain off after a power loss. The timer functionality is pretty typical, but I will not be using it. Most timers with a similar control do not work well with timed switches. The single button brightness control is a little cumbersome like most, but I really only plan on setting and forgetting. The various light settings are nice, but I think the "moon" coloration works the best for this tank. I do wish there were some plant-fruendly Leads on this, but I am sure it will work fine.In all, this is a great "little" light for smaller tanks. If you can stomach the price point, you might find this to be a good option for you as well.

A great aquarium light
This aquarium light is highly versatile and extremely bright with its 38W power, making it suitable for medium to high-light tanks ranging from 10 to 29 gallons. With dimming and height adjustments, it also works well for a 10-gallon low-tech tank. The mount is very flexible, allowing you to adjust the light's height and depth to cover tanks of various lengths and widths. I installed this light on a 10-gallon tank, and it provides beautiful, even lighting. The light features four different color modes. For freshwater tanks, the standard and fish modes are likely the most popular, delivering a pleasing color that makes fish and plants appear vibrant and saturated. The light comes with several timer settings suitable for most tanks and is compatible with external timers. The light color mode and dimming settings are saved when used with external timers or smart plugs.Overall, I am quite pleased. Given that LED aquarium lights have a long lifespan, I believe this is a worthwhile investment for aquarium hobbyists due to its quality and versatility. Highly recommended!

This light is great
Had to take pictures with the dimmest setting for the close ones because it puts out so much light. Really nice and with a nice long mount to keep it off the water. It has glass keeping the water from the LEDs, but mineral water or a saltwater tank will produce build up if accessories are too close. This light will be the key feature to my under the tank sump (work in progress) and should grow anything you can think of to try and outcompete the algae. The lights have on/off, a timer, the settings cycle through several colors, and they have a timer function on them as well, so I can finally ditch the last of my plug timers. The last button makes it brighter or dimmer. Very nice quality all around, five stars

Glad I chose this
I have an aquarium stand with a built-in light but no timer, not what I wanted. This has 4 different kinds of light settings, which the directions explain the meaning of. The directions can but understood! Seriously, these a really good directions, something I cannot often say.The light will increase to the setting you want then dim. Then you can have it go to moonlight if you wish. There are different time lengths and light intensities you can choose from, and it is indeed intuitive enough that I shouldn't have to find the directions to change it. I'm impressed.

Very nice light
This is a very nice, and well made, light.First of all, I was a little worried about if it would fit on my tank or not. Looking at the pictures it LOOKS like it's designed for rimless tanks, it doesn't look like the mount is wide enough to go over a rim. I'm happy to report that it fits rimmed tanks just fine! It's bright, but you can easily adjust the brightness level. We use ours in an axlotl tank, so don't need the full brightness. But, if you need it, there is plenty of light to sustain a planted tank.Has several light "modes", daylight, moonlight, and reef/blue light, as well as timer options ranging from 3 hours to 12 hours.Construction is great- Everything is nicely machined aluminum that fits together tightly and stays in place when tightened.Overall, a great aquarium light!

Great light
Fantastic light and slightly overkill for a 15g flex tank, but my plants have really perked up since installing this, it's bright as heck, it penetrates the deep tank quite well, the timer works awesome, and it looks great on the tank,
