This review is for the Roamoris automatic water level controller, 110v.I'm using it to control my well pump, so the pump doesn't suck the well dry then overheat. I had to wire up my own sensors, then pull them out of the hole twice to tweak their locations. Capacitive sensors are fussy, and mine seemed confused when they were touching damp PVC pipe.But it's working now, which is more than I can say for its main competitor, the Bridea hi-lo pump controller. (Yes, I know the Bridea needs a ground wire.)Pro Tip: For purposes of wiring up this sensor, a water well is not a "Supply," it is a "Drain." With a little thought, you'll realize why.

So far so good….. I’m using these to automate the filling of a water tank on my roof by pumping water from a ground tank. These work perfectly.

I got this "Automatic Water Level Controller" to monitor my water tank levels and control an immersion heater, and overall, it has performed well. The sensor seems pretty accurate, and the relay switch is responsive, ensuring my heater turns off when the water level gets low so as not to burn out the immersion heater..Pros:Easy Installation – The included 6.5ft detector cable provides flexibility, and the wiring instructions are straightforward.Multiple Modes – I like that it offers the different modes (4) for flexibility.Reliable Operation – Once set up, the controller monitors the water level without needing manual intervention. I will want to setup an alternate "Alarm" to let me know when I need to add water to the tank (which for me is a manual process)Cons:Setup Requires Patience – The instructions could be much clearer, especially if you are a first-time user. It did take some trial and error to configure the correct mode for what I was doing.Build Quality is Decent, But Not Heavy-Duty – The relay and casing feel somewhat lightweight, so I’d recommend installing it in a dry, protected area to extend its lifespan. For me it's used inside a chicken run area and while mostly protected, gets very dusty.Final thoughts:For the price, this "water level controller" is a good choice. if you need an automatic solution for managing your pump, heater or other device (based on water level). It does the job well but may require some initial fine-tuning. If you’re comfortable with minor adjustments during installation, this is a great addition to your system.

I am using this Roamoris Automatic Water Level Controller as a low level alarm for our cistern. We live part time in a condo at Cabo San Lucas, MX. Potable water is a very precious commodity there...it sucks to run out!Absentee owners rely on the vigilance of the property manager to keep the cisterns as full as practical. The city only provides water once a month...if you run out, you have to call in a private water truck for almost twice the price of city water.At present, the manager has to lift the metal lid that covers the cistern and physically look at the level. We have been surprised in the past with low to no water with a questionable reply from the manager as to how this happens. My solution is to install this low water level alarm system so that the manager isn't tasked with lifting the metal cistern covers.I tested this Roamoris relay using an orange 5 gallon bucket half full of water. The probes are arranged so that they can be lifted and lowered into the water...simulating a filling and lowering level.From this test, I found that there doesn't have to be much vertical separation between the red (A or High) and black (B or Mid) probes for them to work properly. The blue (C or Low) probe is to be touching the bottom of the tank.I've included a truth table showing the results.Bottom line; For Alarm Output, the Roamoris requires the level to fall below A (Lights as soon as A is exposed).To reset the output requires raising level above A.I have the output going to a stacked RedGreen AC 110V 75dB Flashing Alarm Beacon.I installed a 2Amp circuit breaker in the 115VAC supply.For my application, I had to connect terminals C, D, and E together with the blue probe.The sales copy pictures show the ends of the probes with potted wire within acorn nuts. That's not how my probes arrived. They actually are able to be unscrewed to reveal a crimped brass end piece that is covered up when the acorn nut is screwed tight. It's not waterproof, but it doesn't seem to need waterproofing.This has not been installed yet...only tested for this review.I find the alarms were consistent and repeatable with each test.This is a very functional device and works as advertised.

Believe this unit has an internal short. It is set up for "supply", and there is no window of operation between contact-"A" (stop), and contact-"B" (start). As soon as the water level breaks contact with "A" the pump turns on, "B" is not even used, or is non functional. I've played with the wring set-up encase their instructions are incorrect, but that does not help. So, I will start looking for an american made piece of equipment. Buyer beware! I would give this no stars if I was able to.
