Very good quality
These are thinner than your average winter wool sock but I've worn these in the summer and they are great! They actually make my feet stay cool. The fit is kind of tight but a size up should fix that. Good compressive support and you get three pairs so it’s also a great value especially for merino wool.

Great sock
Great light weight sock for early season hunting / hiking / outdoor activities. I would suggest sizing up. I’m a size 11.5 boot & bought the size large. It fits almost too snug. I would recommend a size up.

very tight
These socks have a nice wool blend and are well made though slightly itchy. They are thin and not too bulky which is ideal especially for summer use as they fit well in hiking boots. The footbed is cushiony and supportive with arch compression. The cloud colorway is really pretty, too. But these socks are ridiculously tight. They are long and narrow and hard to put on even for someone with skinny ankles, and while they stretch out a little bit the size large is uncomfortably small. I tried to like these and wore them several times but disappointingly the fit is just not right.

Size complete wrong
the advertised size of the socks I purchased was shoe size 13-15. My shoe size is 13, so I'm in the lower end of the advertised range. The package arrived, and the label of the socks I received indicated 13-15 as well. so i received the correct size. However, the socks were impossible to fit my feet into. Either the packaging was wrong, or the sizes are way off advertised sizing. To say the least, the QA for this product needs some work.probably not worth buying.

Nice thinner version of my husband's typical wool socks
With the summer months in full swing, he wanted a cooler temp version of his [newly discovered] wool socks. He claims wool keeps his sweaty feet dry compared to his polyester socks and is now on a rampage to replace them all with wool. These have been working well, don't take up too much room, and wicks pretty well. Note, these aren't as fully cushioned and dry-wicking as winter wool socks -- and likely not as durable, but that's the tradeoff for lighter socks with greater breathability. BUT size up unless you want compression socks. These socks are very snug. And never, ever put them in the dryer, which I feel is what is causing folks to dislike these socks -- a dryer would turn these into children's socks. My husband is an 11.5 EEEE (yes, he has wide paddles for feet) with thick basketball calves, and he is able to wear these socks. They have enough stretch, although do note that he's the type who prefers a tighter fit that prevents socks from bunching on the forefoot area.

Sizes seem off—*very* tight around ankle
Order one size larger. I’ll probably give these to someone smaller. I’m not a large person and yet these were. These are way too tight around the lower calf/ankle, squeezing to the point of uncomfortable. That these didn’t come from Meriwool directly makes me hesitant about giving lower marks since I’ve had great success with their other wares.

Very nice wool socks
These wool hiking socks are very comfortable and warm at a good price. They are well stitched and hold up to multi day hikes without washing. On the price side, they are a bit better than the name brand ones but work just as well for me.
