String broke, and there was no ember catcher as pictured, and the bow is too stiff to be at all effective. When I finally set a new cord and set the length just right, I was able to get some friction going but no ember. ### ⭐ Complete waste of money *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2018* Spindle snapped in half the first time I used it, which wasn’t a surprise, it and the fireboard were both riddled with cracks. The there was no ember catcher as pictured, and the bow is too stiff to be at all effective. You have to get the string tied at JUST the right length and then use your finger on the string to hold it tight enough to turn the spindle which makes the already super short stroke basically useless. Don’t waste your money on this one if you want to practice your fire building skills, just buy the Primitive Fire brand set right off the bat and save yourself the time and money of having to order that one after this one fails. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works in 1 minute or less *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2018* Great kit and excellent training aid.
