Exactly what I needed. Did not break after first use like others

This will be my second time using fiberglass cloth and resin for a project. The first time I used the off the shelf brand (folded mat) to construct a Spartan helmet for Halloween. Fast forward 14 years and now I am going to attempt to build a dome cover for my son’s sandbox. I repurposed a 5ft diameter pond and now need to cover it so the neighborhood cats and other wildlife don’t repurpose it as well.Still researching on what resin to use and a good UV resistant/ waterproof coating for on top. The boat building supplies make the most sense for my application. I’m just trying to keep the cents $$ down to a minimum for a sandbox lid, and this fabric was the first piece of the puzzle that fit the bill. It looks to be of great quality, well packaged in a roll (not folded as one reviewer said to stay away from) and looks to be thick enough. I hope one roll will be enough for my intended use (project budget), but if I need more, I will definitely be a returning customer.

This feels heavier and certainly has a coarser weave than the 10oz west marine cloth I’m comparing it to. As a result it doesn’t comply as well with compound shapes but it’s still quite workable. The economics can’t be beat either - this is a fantastic price for reasonable quality cloth.I’m still fairly new at fiberglass work and I think I’d be having an easier time with precut sheets of name-brand cloth, but then my kids wouldn’t eat this month so you make do.Arrived very fast, double packaged, tied, and taped, in a roll.tl;dr it’s more than 9oz, quality is fine, price is great.

Have had trouble getting size of fiberglass cloth big enough to cover my foam outrigger. This was just right.
