This is the best tape that I ever used, super strength, very easy to use, stickiness, thickness, functionality

Super good quality, super sticky, easy to use. Not to thick not to thin. I used it to hold my spoiler/wing and im not talking a duck tail lol its held on for 3 months now and has not flown off, super worth the money. Super functional. Do recommend getting adhesive promoter if you are doing what I did just to get some extra stick to the tape.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this roll of Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty, Mounting Adhesive Tape 1 in x 15.4 ft, Waterproof Adhesive Strip Tape for Indoor & Outdoor use because I needed to hang some LED string light bulbs under our covered porch. The clips I bought came with their own 3M white fabric tape which lasted less than 24 hours...This black rubbery tape has stayed in place for over a week now and shows no signs of detaching from the painted metal ceiling panels.Recommend? Yes

I didn't think it was sticky. After 24 hours it holds the window vent "rain shield" in the track on my jeep Grand Cherokee. Easy to use.

The car companies use this double sided tape to hold body side molding onto the painted surface of the automobile. It is a pain cleaning the old adhesive off the paint and the molding. After all of that work, you want to secure the molding with the best 3M body side molding tape you can get your hands on. You never know when you are getting the real thing or a knockoff. I have seen some that says "3M" on the red backing. I have seen some that said "M3" on the red backing. I have seen some that just havs a solid red backing with no writing. This purchase of the 3M product from Amazon just had the solid red backing. It appeared to be the real thing. It was super sticky and easy to apply. I applied it to the molding and used blue painters tape on the automobile to mark where the old molding came off. This helped get the molding back on in the correct place.

The adhesion is only good if you can somehow get it off the wheel. Its very difficult to to use, the tape thickness is then which is great, the value should be at least 2 dollars cheaper. The quality is standard. P.S. prepare to use scissors first. If for an LED light, I suggest that you put the sticky side on the light and the peel the guard when you're ready to adhere to the wall, otherwise dust gets on it and then its useless. To get off the wall I use a steamer.
