Beauticat Cat Litter 30ltr 18000g

I have been using this cat litter for over 4 years now, and it is the best one I have found. It smells pleasant, keeps in urine odours and is very easy to scoop out the poo. It is so good at lasting that I don't need to change the cat litter as often - just once a week and remove the lumps etc each day. It is lightweight, tidy and easy to change. Both my old cat and my current cat love it. Plus I get it delivered to my door by the postman - what more could you want? :)

My cat loves Sophisticat, and so do I. It doesn't smell bad as soon as your cat makes one wee, like the cheap ones. My baby is happy to wee, and poo on it. The large bag is great value, especially when compared to the smaller supermarket bags!

I have been buying this product for about 4 months for my 2 indoor cats. Its delivery is quick and I am impressed that the courier service think about leaving the product by my back door if im on nights or im not in( wouldnt want to collect this from the post office as its really heavy) I have tried using a different wood based litter that was slightly cheaper and I admit that I wont be doing that again. Althought its slightly more expensive than other litters.. its perfect in that it lasts well... doesnt turn to dust quickly and stays inside the litter tray and doesnt get stuck on the cats paws. Wish we could have this product on subscribe and save :o) will recommend

CANNOT CALL ANY CAT LITTER BEAUTIFUL. IT WAS NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. I HAVE USED THIS TYPE BEFORE THOUGH. IT IS DEFINITELY LESS MESSY THAN THE OTHER TYPE. I THINK THERE IS LESS CAT SMELL WITH IT/ALTHOUGH THE STUFF ITSELF HAS A FUNNY SMELL. IT LASTS LONGER I THINK. ALSO I DON'T KNOW IF MY KITTEN JUST GREW UP BUT SINCE I BOUGHT THIS MY CAT NOW GOES OUTSIDE TO TOILET. I AM THEREFORE ONLY USING THE LITTER WHEN I AM OUT AND LEAVE THE CAT IN AND WHEN I GO TO BED AND LEAVE THE CAT AND THE LITTER IN THE LOUNGE SO THAT I KNOW IT IS SAFE AT NIGHT. BEING A BLACK CAT I AM SCARED IT IS NOT SEEN IN THE DARK AND GET RAN OVER.

I usually buy one of the cheapest wood based litter for my cat. However I am very sensitive to the smell of wet litter and I have to scoop it every day. I change and clean the litter box every 4-5 days. This time I decided to try Beauticat Cat Litter and I was positively surprised, as after 2 days there was no smell at all. However it is very dusty and my cat spreads the litter all over the house and furniture. It is really annoying, as I have to clean not only the litter box, but as well the whole house. I have never had this problem with the cheap litter... So, yes the litter covers the smell really good, but I have to change it even more often than the other one.

I love this litter and so does my cats. It is much healthier than the gravelly alternatives and they have never liked the other 'green' options, such as the compressed paper versions. As it breaks down into a powder when used, it is easy to keep the litter tray clean by sifting the disintegrated stuff into the bin through a pooperscoop, leaving the clean stuff to go back into the tray. The bag lasts ages too.

I decided to try this litter because it seemed more eco-friendly, but it is horrible and now I'm stuck with 30 litres of it! The pellets are way too big for a cat to use as litter. My kitten visibly dislikes using this, and it is even mixed with finer grain litter that she's been using. I'm mixing a small amount of Beauticat in and she really is less enthusiastic about the litter box, which is not a good bump in the road to have when litter box training a young kitten. There is no way she would use this on its own.I also think the larger pellets make it impractical for cat litter use, as the excretion will just run through and puddle up in the bottom of the tray. It would be more suited to bedding for rabbits, perhaps even larger animals such as livestock, or something. I'm going to find a place to donate it, because I think I would get termites storing this before we are able to use it up!

It masks the smells which is great, but when wet with urine it turns to a sawdust like substance and falls to the bottom of the tray so you can never fully clean away the soiled material. I much prefer a litter that clumps for easy removal, but because that is dusty it is not good for pets respiratory tract. I usually use a recycled newspaper pellet, which stays intact and allows for much better cleaning out, whereas these pellets fall apart when wet which makes them hard to clean up.
