Loved the shampoo more than the conditioner - Using bars takes some getting used to !
Things I liked about these shampoo and conditioning bars:1 Not strongly perfumed2. Felt very eco and green3. So easy to take with you when travelling - no accidental spillages4. Shampoo lathered up so nicely5. Hair felt nice afterwards (not amazing, but nice enough !)Things I didn't like1. Difficult to tell which bar is which in the shower as there is only a subtle difference between them !2. Conditioner didn't really seem to do a whole amount of good - but I do have very dry hair so it had a big task on its hands at the outset !3. I personally like a teeny bit more of a fragrance with my products4. You do need to have a soap tray to balance these onto, in order to dry out between uses - they cannot stay in the shower as they just go mushy so that means you have to take them in and out of the shower when using each time - a bit of a faff.Shampoo/conditioner bars do take some time to get used to - the conditioner bar especially didn't lather or really feel like there was much product going onto my hair - I need to FEEL the lather or product and that part of the set didn't deliver. However I did really like the shampoo bar (I do regularly use a bar from a well known high street bath product retailer). Packaging was minimal, and a little disappointing if I'm honest - I'd like a little more luxe for the money - this felt very basic (probably being eco - but I would like a more fancy design - even on a simple box.Price wise its on a par with what I usually pay for my shampoo bar so not a huge bargain.

Works Wonders...
I was going to rate this 4*... but the product works so well that I had to bump it up to 5*.I buy a lot of hair products for personal use (I'm also a hairdresser) and sometimes I've paid a lot for shampoos and conditioners that have turned out awful (Morroccan Oil brand, for example). This product has blown me away. Here is my experience:1. It came with a tin for each bar - useful while travelling2. Solid bars - able to put in hand luggage if traveling without a suitcase. Less messy and less waste3. The shampoo makes fine hair big, and the conditioner made it SO silky. I find it really hard to manage my fine, highlited hair because it can look flat on the roots and frizzy on the mids-ends. I really struggle with suitable conditioners that aren't too light (hair gets knotty) or too heavy (hair goes flat and greasy). The shampoo lathers up really well but feels soft like butter, and leaves a squeaky-clean feeling. The conditioner nourishes the hair so well and my hair is never frizzy as it usually is. I'm blown away with it...4. It smells amazing! The whole bathroom smells like lavender.5. I bought these bars at the beginning of August & I wash my hair 2-3 times per week. I'm posting this review at the start of October. The shampoo bar has reduced by half, still plenty left (2+ months use so far, so it'll probably be finished after 4 months)The conditioner bar is pretty much finished (1-2 months use) and has broken up into smaller pieces, so this was a challenge - but it is soap... and you can't really stop it from breaking apart. I have fine/medium thickness hair, so I was surprised it finished way before the shampoo. This is the reason why I was going to give it 4*, but I thought it was a bit unfair. If I was to suggest an improvement to KinKind, it would be to make the conditioner bars slightly bigger by increasing the thickness of the bar. Not only would it last as long as the shampoo, but it may reduce the likelihood of breaking up, and we'd also be able to tell the difference between our tins just by looking at the size! I've just bought another conditioner bar and it's quite small considering the cost!Tip 1: The bar can get stuck in the tin after being wet and dry. I put my bar in the lid of the tin... it's easier to remove.Tip 2: Put the conditioner under warm water to soften it, then rub the bar directly onto your mids-ends.

Useful
The shampoo bar is very nice, the condition smells great but it doesn’t dry out in the tin after use so it becomes a bit mushy.

Did a better job than expected.
I tried the Duo Pack, which is the shampoo bar and conditioner bar, and each bar comes in a little cardboard box.The shampoo bar has a slightly mottled look to it with a very faint grey hue, the conditioner bar is plain white and slightly smaller, so you can tell them apart when side by side.I tried the shampoo bar alone, then the next day both bars. The shampoo lathered quite well, I find the easiest way to distribute these bars is to rub then directly on my hair rather than try to lather your hands and do it that way. I have long hair so I slide the bar all over my scalp and down the lengths. It was easy to rinse out.I was surprised that it left my hair looking as nice as it did, I found it a little drying, but generally it did a better job than I expected.Next day I used both bars, the conditioner didn’t lather as well and I needed to really give it a good rub all over my hair to cover it properly. After drying though my hair did feel softer than just using the shampoo alone and scent is nice but subtle.Ideally you need a soap dish for them, as you can’t really put them back in the box once used. Ideal for travel though, saves carrying liquids and they do a decent job of washing your hair.

Brilliant product
Was a bit unsure at first but have been totally converted , leaves hair feeling lovely and soft and soap washes out really well. Last for ages so really good value for money.

Great for travel
I bought the shampoo and conditioner to take on a 3 week holiday to save space and reduce weight in my luggage. I’m really happy with both and will probably continue using them at home. Hair feels great, they are easy to use and easy to pack.
