Quietly excellent, if a bit pricey
Didn’t expect to love this mouse so much. Easily the most comfortable I’ve ever used. It’s built for bigger hands, mine are medium or largish at a push and it feels great - though this will depend on your grip type. I prefer palm grip. Can't say how well it would work for claw grip or others.Tracking is flawless. Buttons feel sharp and responsive. Battery lasts long, even with the lights, I think you would get around 4 or 5 days, though I haven't had it long enough to confirm exactly. The software is very well done, easy to use, polished, all the features you would expect to customise lighting, macros, DPI etc. The wireless connection is solid too, not a single dropout or stutter. Can't say the same for my old Steelseries mouse this has replaced. The scroll wheel is a nice surprise, and not something I was expecting to appreciate as much as I do.You can unlock it for that free spin thing like Logitech MX, which I didn’t think I’d use much, but now I doom scroll like a man possessed. Also tilts left and right, which is handy if you work a lot in spreadsheets or other wide content like OneNote and so on.Special mention for the big thumb button tucked under the grip. It acts as a modifier key by default, so holding it and scrolling, for example, adjusts volume (you can change this to whatever you like). Sounds like a gimmick, but I don't think I'd want to go without it now.The 1000 Hz polling rate isn’t cutting-edge, Razer and other high end brands have mouses up to 8000 Hz, but I can't say this is a problem, and it's my understanding in any case that the practical benefit of ultra high polling rates is almost impossible to measure, if it even exists. It does have a motion sync feature which it claims "provides higher responsiveness by syncing the signals at the exact intervals the PC polls for data". Basically g-sync, but for your mouse, so it should boost the effective polling rate anyway.I got it for £78 on a deal. Would still pay full price, now that I know what I’m getting. No complaints. Just a very solid mouse that makes everything else feel second-rate.Quick note: Don’t confuse this with the regular Kone II (non-Air). That one’s wired, lacks the unlockable scroll wheel entirely (no free scrolling), and has a slightly different button layout. The Kone II Air weighs a bit more and drops a lighting zone, but has the free spin wheel toggle instead.

Fantastic for the price
Fantastic mouse for the price . My only negative is that it's a little bit light weight and doesn't offer the option to add extra weights for a better feel. I like the extra thumb button too .

If you were a fan of the original...
I had an OG Roccat Kone XTD and was looking for a new mouse after 10 years of solid use had left the old one looking a bit tired and worn out - despite it working absolutely perfectly. When I saw that there was a refresh of my old mouse I was elated - grabbed it on sale and it feels every bit as beautiful as the first one did. Just be aware, this mouse is a big boy and not going to really suit people with smaller hands or a claw grip style. But if like me, you have big sausage fingers and a caveman palm grip, this is basically the perfect mouse.

Pretty but meh
I pre ordered this as I thought it would look really nice with my white keyboard. The mouse is compatible with the Turtle Beach Surf II app & most of the styles or rhythms of the RGB, are locked into the colours they have as default. You can only change the colours of ones that stay a fixed colour, and they don't match what you pick at all. I had to chose a red to look more pink, but it's a very faded pink. I'm not sure why, but if you pick a pre set pink it's bright & beautiful, so it's frustrating that you cannot match the colour to what you want.My mouse didn't come with instructions/manual, so I came back on here and read that I had to download the above mentioned app. There you can change the DPI & other settings. It also comes with grips, but they don't tell you where to place them, but I figured out they're meant to go on the side of the mouse. The cord seems durable so far, as I got the wired version that's important to me. It's responsive too, but I have no idea how to fix the buttons or assign them to anything. The lack of manual with the mouse really messed me about, there was not even a QR code to show me the manual online. The mouse fits my tiny hands, so I doubt this will be as good for medium/ large hands as stated, good for me, not good for those with big hands.I feel a little disappointed after waiting so long for this to arrive, and I'm glad I didn't get the wireless as I feel like that would have been an even bigger waste of money.
