Two types of threaded fuses are available: Edison base (brass) and rejection base (porcelain). The two are not interchangeable. TL and SL medium-duty fuses are regular duty fuses. T and S are heavy duty fuses for more demanding applications with high inrush currents. I use my cell phone several hours a day and my hands get tired and so it is nice being able to clamp the holder onto my coffee table while I sit on my sofa writing in my notebook and having both hands free. I also use it to clip onto my kitchen table, and even in bed I clamp it to a pillow so that I do not have to hold my phone. I have have clamped it a border fence while out gardening and to my deck while sitting outside. So for me it comes in very handy. The down side of using it it I would say is that the long adjustable arm is kind of hard to bend. It is similar to bending the arm of a gooseneck lamp, except it is stiffer and harder to bend. But that is good because it is strong and holds the weight of the cell phone very well. It is strong and well made. The two clamps, one on each end are also strong and secure. The bottom one that clamps to the table holds it very securily. And the top clamp hold the phone securily. If mine ever breaks I will be buying a new one.
