Once your produce is sprayed, be sure to use it asap because it hastens the ripening process. I still use water, baking soda and white vinegar on my strawberries - I think the carbonation process seems to work better in their crevices. I don't use this on my root vegetables - their skins a bit porous and I have concerns about that. -> The sprayer is the worst! Every package has a sprayer and every single one has broken. Every.
