The dog likes it!
This is pretty much as described. It arrives vacuum packed so takes a while to fully inflate like a memory foam mattress. You just have to wait several hours for the full effect. The wrinkles eventually come out of the material and the steps look a bit less squishy and misshapen. This is a cross between steps and a slope but it seems to work fine. Our little Bichon-cross (see pic) was quite keen to give them a try straightaway and has been using them ever since. She has short legs and sometimes struggles to jump onto the sofa. This really helps. She prefers to go down using the steps too β probably easier on her joints. The material used is slightly velvety on top. Underneath it's a non-slip webbing type material. You can zip the cover off to wash it. The steps have no hard parts inside, and are very light in weight, unlike some wooden steps we also have. So you can move them around the house easily. One little issue is that if you don't have the tall end wedged against the furniture, it can be a bit 'tippy'. Note that itβs only about a foot high.Overall, this is good for a small dog, especially one getting a bit older.

Great for our dog
One of our dogs can't jump after a back injury. Didn't take long for her to get the hang of this and now we don't need to keep lifting her up, or down from the settee

Not impressed with product
I decided to purchase some steps for the side of my bed for my french bull dog puppy. I seen this item and thought it was better than the steps as it's more of a bumped slope which I thought it would be easier and better for my dog then stairs. So I bought it and was quite excited to get the steps to see how cute my pup looked going up and down them. But they look absolutely nothing like the picture! My child's dad said maybe it needs chance to fill out and blow up. So I waited and nothing happened. I put it on a slope at first at the side of my bed, and the dog tried climbing up but faceplanted. I lay it flat, thinking it's just to give him a paw up. But even that didn't look right. And it wasn't cheap either. So back to being woke up in the night when the dog gets down from the bed and wakes me to get back on. Now I'm tired, and skint. Not impressed, and as you can see, neither is Elvis ππ€¨

Foam steps
Good quality foam, with a gentle slope for ease on joints. The fabric is soft, and doesn't seem to catch too much in claws. The height is 30cm/1 foot, so it only reaches 2/3 of the way up a sofa, and if your pet requires aid onto a bed then this isn't high enough to help much. But for living rooms this is a good bit of kit for senior pets. Good quality at a reasonable price.
