Excellent piece of kit

Quite dissapointed with this tungsten Sharpner.The goodIt's nicely made and finished, and arrived fast and intact.Diamond wheels are double sided and seem reasonably OKCut-off groove worked quite well I thought, if you go lightlyThe not quite so goodThe angle grinding range was not as advertisedIf your grinding a single angle your wearing a track out on the cutter and the rest is wasted, I tend to grind to the same angle so thats like 80% of the disk wasted.Says the madrel is new stronger CNC type ..mmmm lots or play and slip I could not get consistent results, had few nice ones then a few flats which had to be cut off, there was way to much play in the brass guide even a smal amount affects the end result. Also Tungsten is pretty hard and brass is relatively soft not sure about wear and tear on this.I used my Dremel and had issues with the madrel slipping down and that screws everything as height of the disk is critical , the instructions mention a good tightening of the collet which I did,I think there is a lot of technique to get consistent results , I get better with a grinding wheel and electric drill.Overall pricey for its performance , going to try a cheaper version suspect it will be similar.Botom line a decent commercial sharpner costs lots there may be a reason.

I've had good luck with this. You do have to gentle inserting the tungsten so you don't apply too much pressure to diamond disk but other than that it makes a perfect grind!

Works good I like the adjustable part of it

Endlich ein Werkzeug mit dem man die Elektroden einfach schleifen kann. Für die 4 Elektrodendurchmesser von 1,0 bis 3,2 mm stehen 4 Buchsen zur Verfügung. Diese wiederum können in 4 Gewinde verschiedener Winkel eingeschraubt werden. Der Schleifvorgang lässt sich gut beobachten. Die mitgelieferten Diamantscheiben und deren Aufnahme sind von guter Qualität. 100%ige Weiterempfehlung.
