ROWOOD Marble Run Parallel World Electric Model Kits for Adults Kids to Build, 3D Puzzle with LED, Cyberpunk Miniature City with Multi-Combination, Creative Gift for Him

On reading the listing I found that this Last City can be used in conjunction with 3 other modules to form a much larger world. I wanted to know if these other modules were stand alone, operating as 4 separate units, or whether a single marble would run round and between all four modules. So I searched on Amazon for the other modules, then I carried out a Google search-there’s no Rowood website and the other units aren’t mentioned anywhere. It was only then that I discovered that the item isn’t Rowood, that name isn’t mentioned anywhere on the box, item or instructions-it’s Rokr whose name appears on everything-even on the front of the box. Rokr do have a website that mentions not only this Last City but the lets you know that the other modules are in the pipeline. So I still don’t know to what degree the different modules will be interlinked.But does it matter? Not in the slightest. It’s me letting my curiosity loose! Rowood suggest 2 hours construction time for this kit. Good luck with that target! If you’ve been making model aeroplanes since you were in short trousers then I suppose it might be achievable. For the rest of us, or for me at least, double that time is needed. Every part is precision moulded and each needs to be cut away from the containing frame with equal precision. The slightest piece left unclipped will slow or even halt the marble. I followed the instructions advice and cut twice.I was surprised at how small this marble run is; 230x145 mm (excluding the lift). But as the old saying goes, good things come in small packages. And this marble run is superb, expensive yes, but will provide hours of fun both in the build and post build. However, the fun bit is down to the buyer. Rowood have gone to great lengths to produce a precision kit, it’s up to the buyer to create a precision toy.

Received box intact bu t when opened , the switch wires had broken from the plug so not able to test electrics, waiting for replacement part.

Got this for my son for his birthday as he loves putting stuff together.This marble run looks spectacular. Kind of like a futuristic cyber punk vibe going on here. There are LOTS of pieces to take out of frames (a bit like model aeroplane building) and the instructions are good. The instructions and build might be complicated for the younger person and they’ll most likely need supervision. My son is late teens and he had to take his time and pay attention to what he was doing. Overall, I’d say it took him 3-4 hours to build, especially as we had a small issue where the marble wouldn’t run properly but it was just down to a piece of plastic not being removed from the frame properly. As soon as this was discovered, he was back in action.The marble run is great to watch, especially going up in the ‘elevator’ to star again. What surprised us was the size, which is not as big as you think it’s going to be, which we really appreciated as it’s easier to fit on my son’s shelf. You can also attach 3 other sets to this in a modular fashion if you really want to expand this to a marble run ‘world’.Overall, I’m really happy with this marble run. It’s a premium product, that’s for sure, and it’s seriously premium if you want to buy another 3 modules to attach to it. But, price aside, this was great fun to build but younger people will definitely need help. Once it’s up and running, it’s great to watch it going.

This was intended for someone with a lot of patience, it does say on the box that it takes around 2 hours ...well if you have piano fingers and have done this before ..maybe, however with sausage fingers and zero knowledge it will take you quite a bit more time than 2 hours.The good part is if you have the patience to put it together you will enjoy every minute of it as every piece has been moulded perfectly..you just have to cut it to to size.

I have done some wooden puzzles from this brand, and was excite to see something different.Love the idea of the modularity of this set. There are several kits available that can be combined to make a bigger run, which sounds like a really fun idea.The quality of the pieces is great, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Great time spent assembling this marble run kit.

Am Anfang sah alles ziemlich kompliziert aus: viele kleine Teile und eine komplexe Konstruktion, aber genau das machte es so spannend. Jedes Element musste sorgfältig vorbereitet werden, denn selbst ein kleiner Überstand hätte das Kugellaufen verlangsamen oder gar stoppen können. Wir waren geduldig und gingen Schritt für Schritt vor.Man konnte wirklich sehen, wie durchdacht jedes Detail ist. Der Lift, der die Kugeln zum Startpunkt bringt, und die Lichteffekte, die mit der Bewegung der Kugeln synchronisiert sind, schufen eine magische Atmosphäre. Mein Sohn war begeistert – es war, als ob dieser kleine Miniaturwelt auf unserem Tisch zum Leben erwacht. Übrigens haben wir die angegebene Bauzeit von zwei Stunden nicht eingehalten – wir haben deutlich länger gebraucht, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Jeder Schritt fühlte sich wie eine kleine Entdeckung an, und jeder erfolgreiche Lauf der Kugeln war ein echtes Erfolgserlebnis.Am Ende hatten wir nicht nur ein schönes Dekorationsstück für unser Zuhause, sondern auch ein funktionales Spielzeug, mit dem wir immer wieder Spaß hatten, die Kugeln laufen zu lassen und das Modell zu bewundern. ROWOOD hat mit diesem Set wirklich tolle Arbeit geleistet: Es ist ästhetisch ansprechend und technisch anspruchsvoll. Ja, das Projekt ist nichts für diejenigen, die schnelle Erfolge suchen, aber für uns war es ein wunderbarer Weg, gemeinsam Zeit zu verbringen, etwas Eigenes zu schaffen und das Ergebnis zu genießen.

C’est un circuit à billes, à construire. Âge noté 8+, mais bien compliqué pour cet âge. Je dirai 14 ans pour être vraiment à l’aise dans la construction. Bref j’ai suppervisé mon fils tout le long. Nous somme arrivés à la fin, et … ça ne fonctionne pas, les billes sont censées prendre l’ascenseur automatiquement mais celui ci ne fais pas bien son travail. Dommage, vraiment dommage. Car cela pouvait être vraiment sympa.

Complesso, ma bellissimo.In confezione troverete tutto il necessario per poter montare questo "puzzle".Ottima qualità sia delle plastiche che dell'elettronica così come per le istruzioni, un po' complesse ma poi ci si fa l'abitudine. Consiglio un gran bel tavolo dove posizionare tutte le buste (e sono tante) che si trovano in confezione in modo da rendere più semplice e sicuramente più veloce il montaggio.La confezione dichiara un tempo di montaggio di circa 90 minuti.. io, con calma, ci ho messo almeno 4h ma meglio, perché mi è piaciuto un sacco. Un film o della musica in sottofondo e ci si diverte e rilassa anche con veramente poco.Si possono comprare più set che si possono unire per formare una mega pista delle biglie. L'atmosfera shi-fi simil cyberpunk è assolutamente spettacolare, così come i giochi di luci e gli effetti che si vengono a creare con il movimento delle biglie. Si, non costa poco, ma se penso ad un set della lego a questo prezzo trovo ben poco figo come questo. Consigliatissimo personalmente

Questa è la mia prima pista di biglie in plastica da costruire.All'inizio ero un po' spaventato quando, spacchettando il tutto, ho visto numerosi pezzi.Così mi son preso prima di tutto di coraggio ed ho subito iniziato a montare pezzo per pezzo questa pista delle biglie.Devo dire che nel complesso (e soggettivamente) è stato abbastanza semplice, ma per altre persone meno esperte potrebbe essere un livello di difficoltà medio (o difficile se totalmente inesperte).L'unica parte che mi ha dato qualche problemino è l'ascensore, ma ho risolto il tutto in un paio di minuti.Il montaggio è abbastanza soddisfacente, anche se son più appaganti le versioni in legno.Rispetto alle versioni in legno però ha dimensioni ovviamente molto più contenute, difatti son riuscito a posizionarlo sulla scrivania senza eccessivo ingomgro.Una volta terminato ed acceso (tramite tasto soft touch posizionato in basso, forse un po' scomodo a mio parere), l'effetto è stupefacente.Inoltre, questa pista è "modulare", nel senso che si possono acquistare altre piste ed aggiungerle a questa, fino a farle diventare 2, 4 o anche 6, mi pare.Lascio foto ed un video in allegato per mostrare alcuni checkpoint del montaggio ed il funzionamento
