Q: Is this a pressure regulator or a flow control? It doesn't look like it has a diaphragm, more like a needle valve to restrict flow.

This regulates the pressure of the air flow so in things like grease guns it won't blow the seals!

Q: Does this fit a husky model # wl660800aj ? Does the air flow in the right direction?The one I bought at Home Depot, air flow was going the wrong way

As long as your Husky has 1/4" NPT connections, which I'm sure it does. I use these regulator's for all my HVLP spray guns since they also utilize 1/4" NPT connection fittings. The air flow direction works with these Bostitch regulators. They are perfect for HVLP spray gun usage.

It shows the output of the psi.
