Correct shape and size for the toilet. It was easy to use but a little expensive.

If your toilet is the shape as in pictures this should work! A few plunges up and down and suddenly the blockage went down . Very pleased

Lightweight Thruster That Delivers On Its Unblock Promise But Check Shape Of Toilet!
PresentationThe THRUSTER Toilet Plunger was delivered in a plastic bag with the branding information on a small tag, whilst further branding can be found on a sticky label on the handle and embossed into the foam block. The plunger consists of a plastic handle with a hanging loop on one end and the foam block shaped for the modern u-shaped toilet at the business end.First ImpressionsAfter assembling (pushing the hanging loop onto one end of the handle and screwing the threaded end into the threads on the foam block, I must admit I was sceptical looking at it as it seemed lightweight for the task, however as it turns out I need not have worried when it came time to utilize the Thruster.Day To Day UseWe have one downstairs toilet that has a 90° bend in the drain outlet which blocks on occasion and has been difficult to unblock at times. I followed the instructions to get the plunger seated by slowly placing it in the blocked toilet, now it does say it must be submerged, but it was only just covered so I put a jug of water in to cover it. After that it was just the lift and push back down stroke action whilst maintaining the seal and after maybe 6 of these strokes it cleared faster than at any time previously, leaving me impressed. I cleaned it up in the now unblocked toilet with some bleach and a bit of washing up liquid and a couple of flushes with clean water and I was done. I have found a strong zip-loc plastic bag to keep it sealed in when not in use.Summing UpI think the price (currently £19.99) may put people off buying – and they may be nonplussed when they receive the lightweight plunger...but don’t let that put you off, this is a great tool and the value is in delivering what it promises but note that the shape must match the base of your toilet or it simply will not work.

Powerful Unblocker
The THRUSTER Toilet Plunger is designed to tackle even the most stubborn clogs with ease. 🚽 Its unique rectangular shape allows for effective hydraulic pressure application, making it efficient at unclogging toilets. I appreciate the heavy-duty material that ensures durability, even with frequent use. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip, which is a plus during those tough moments. However, be cautious of the splashes that can occur with powerful plunging. Overall, this plunger is a reliable tool for any household needing to address toilet blockages effectively!

Did the job eventually
I bought this even though my toilet does have a horseshoe shaped hole, but it didn’t fit it properly. After trying to push it further in, the stick broke off! I kind of forced it back in, and did my best, and after some hefty plunging it did finally unblock the toilet. You have to have the water level above the plunger for it to work. It was covered in unpleasant stuff afterwards though, so not the nicest job in the world!

Check size/shape first
A few months ago I had a toilet blockage situation. Thankfully it was cleared up but I raise it here because in the process of clearing it I used no less than THREE plungers to try and fix it. Two I used broke on me because they were the plastic kind shaped like bellows almost that go down the first part of the toilet hole and then you push down on them forcing air into the pipe.Because I have fairly recently used three plungers to varying degrees of success I feel like I am in a good position to comment on this plunger, despite I confess not having a blockage that I need to use it for. Sometimes we buy/order things we don't immediately need - like First Aid kits for example. If you feel my review is invalid because I haven't yet tried to clear a toilet blockage with this plunger then so be it. Feel free to stop reading. This plunger does not go down the hole at all. It is designed to cover/block the hole itself and thus form a seal and force air down that way when you thrust. I think it is good for this generally speaking, but you obviously need to take into account the shape of your toilet bowl. I think these specific kind of plungers are for newer style toilets like the one pictured in the listing. The older your toilet is the less likely I think this one is to fit or be of use in your toilet. I don't know that 100% as fact, but look at the listing pictures for yourself - if your toilet is older you may find this useless.Outside of the shape of the head end it is made from a sturdy plastic. The plastic is smooth and easy to clean. The handle of the unit is over 40 centimetres long which should be plenty long enough for the average person to do the job, the handle screws into the plastic business end. On the end of the handle you attach a loop in case you want to hang the unit from a hook or what have you, the loop arrives unattached you must push it onto the handle manually.

Works effectively
The THRUSTER Toilet Plunger is a fantastic solution for modern toilets, particularly those with rectangular or U-shaped bases that old-fashioned circular plungers simply can't fit. The rectangular head, made from firm foam, forms a perfect seal on contemporary toilets, making it highly effective at clearing blockages with just a few gentle plunges. The design allows for minimal mess and splash, making it straightforward to use. The plunger comes in three parts: the foam head, a sturdy plastic handle, and a hanging loop for easy storage. The total height is around 460mm, and the head's dimensions ensure a pretty snug fit in the toilet, allowing for efficient plunging. It feels lightweight but works very effectively.

Well made but not for all toilets
This is an interesting concept and a very well made thruster.I did check (visually) my loo type and still got it wrong so cannot use it properly.Saying that, I can see it working with the right shape of the loo.

Design features and ease of use surpass any other plunger on the market
I was a bit skeptical of this plunger at first as it looked quite different from what I've used in the past however I can confidently say I won't be going back to any other plunger. As someone with back issues, I found this plunger easy to use and worked instantly. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Works when nothing else does
I tried a few plungers from different stores, these partially unblocked my toilet and I had to keep using them. The thruster unblocked my toilet 100% and I haven't needed to use it again so far which is a win!
