It does have a strong smell when you first apply (so do not stand down wind!) However, the smell does not last long. It is not like you notice every time you pass by the plants. Great product. ### ⭐ Junk Sprayers, Great repellant if you can get the sprayer to work. *by R***F on April 1, 2025* This product does work but the sprayer is cheap china container product that does NOT spray. It sprays 3 times then quits and you have to force the sprayer handle back open so it can spray again. If you see a product that uses these types of gallon sprayers avoid buying the product. This is the third container like this (this product and others) that has failed for me for various reasons and I have to move the liquid into a more reliable container to use. You are better off buying the refill gallons and use your own sprayer. Product works great at keeping the deer away.
