I am in Arizona, but in December it can drop to the mid forties and sometimes even lower at night. I was able to sit outdoors in 45 degree weather at night with this lamp heater on my table. I placed a thermometer on the table directly underneath and it rose to 85 degrees. Of course I wasnt sitting that close but with this I needed nothing more than a light sweater to stay warm. For me it was well worth the money and probably just as good as the more expensive models. It also makes for a great reading lamp.

I like that it lamp height. Looks nice in room and is warm if right next to it.

This is a good quality lamp. Bought for an outside patio table. It does a nice job taking the chill out of the air but if you are looking for something to use when it is cold (not just chilly) outside, this doesn't put off that kind of heat, even in Arizona winter.

I absolutely love everything about this outdoor patio heater! It's perfect for making the transition from summer into fall and winter. It's very easy to assemble with clear instructions. It gives off a tremendous amount of heat and does a phenomenal job of warming a large patio/deck area. The quality is exceptional with a reasonable price point. Highly recommend!

Ordered in November and worked great until May 11th. Turned it on and heard a pop. Heater no longer works.

great for being close to the heater. it's not incredibly tall, but that's a good thing when wanting to localize the heat to a specific location, like the lap or the legs. can be stood up on a table to bring the heat to the upper body. got this to accompany my brother who loves sitting out on the porch, even in the winter. this will take the edge off on those cold nights he'll be out there staring at the stars. it is a pretty powerful heater, so be mindful of the plugs needed to not trip a breaker. it's the one issue there has been, making sure it's safely plugged in and able to reach the table outside. other than that, it's a great addition for the winter months ahead
