The best in the west!
Never disappointed with FunWhole. This set is great! Lots of details that make it a joy to put together. It seems like as you put together any FunWhole project, as you build you really are not thinking about the result of the current addition to the build. When you get that part done and add it to the build, you are amazed at the result. It’s kind of like a little surprise. I never have one thing to complain about with this brand. Not even slightly. They really put effort in to pleasing people. Of course they’re in it for the money. That only makes sense. But they above and beyond in their packaging, and what they include. Every time I start opening bags and dumping out parts I get excited about the fresh build. The parts quality is so very good!

Funwhole may just be the best building block brand out there...
For the record, I own and have built, far more real Lego sets and MOC's than most. I "used to be" a strong Lego purist. Recently, however, Funwhole has changed this whole dynamic. They are amazing! First of all, they do not "rip off" genuine Lego sets or published MOC's. Instead, they come up with their own sets and even specific parts. ...and these parts are of EXCELLENT quality, as good, or better, than Lego bricks. Furthermore their instructions are top-notch, printed with accurate, vibrant colors. And all of this is just the beginning! As opposed to Lego, that just provides shallow fronts to buildings, Funwhole's buildings are generally 3x as deep and enclosed on all sides, making them perfectly realistic. These outsides are incredibly well detailed and all feature hinged portions to reveal even more detailed interiors. Though I build them as static models, their playability for any child is without peer. And did I mention that all of their sets are lighted?!? ...and over HALF the price of Lego! So here it is in summary... With Funwhole, you get at least twice as many bricks, buildings 3x bigger (and enclosed), awesome playability and a FREE built in light kit for less than HALF the amount charged by the major brand. I am completely sold. One final note just to emphasize how great they are... they even provide a small metal screwdriver (for opening the battery box) AND a pair of metal tweezers to safely remove the lighting electrical connections without damaging the wires. Who does that?!?

Fantastic!
I have all of the Old West Funwhole sets currently available to U.S. customers, and this one is my favorite. I love the look of the building, especially the roof. There are plenty of lights, and I appreciate the extra dead tree build and printed pieces (no stickers in this set). I like that there are ground pieces under the train tracks, but it makes me wish there were ground pieces under the tracks that come with the Western Freight Train so all of the tracks were on the same level. I have a few more nitpicks: I wish every object could be snapped down, but that's not the case (like one of the benches); I wish all of the lights were yellow or amber because it's the Old West, and the bright white lights look a bit modern; I wish the woman's skirt was another color because the woman that comes with the train also has a blue skirt; and finally, my biggest pet peeve is that the battery box isn't completely hidden and requires a screwdriver to open it. Overall, this set looks great and is an amazing value compared to Lego.

quality is comparable for a much better price than competitor
This was my first FunWhole project and I have done 3 others since this one. This is very pretty, has a great amount of beautiful detail inside and outside. All the doors open, including a sliding door on the side that is built like a barn door. It looks like many of the train stations scattered across this country, so it reminds me of my Amtrak travels across the northern plains. On the negative -Pieces on the porches come off easily when you try to handle the roof to remove it to look inside. The back of the station looks as pretty as the front, but I would rather have the back open up on a hinge (Like the saloon has) to be able to have a great view of the inside without having to remove the roof. When removing the roof, pieces fall off, the porch supports fall off and the hinged part of the roof starts to come apart. For me, the roof has to be partially re-built/repaired whenever I remove it. The lighting is really nice. The price is close to half what the competitor charges for a 2,000 piece set. The quality of the blocks is the same as the competitor and sizing is the same. I do wish the figurines had a bump on their seat so I could set them on a bench or chair. As they are, they will not stay on any of the benches or chairs in the kits I have. I do wish the hands and arms were one piece, they are very difficult to snap together. The instruction book is high quality and very detailed. Even with the problems with pieces falling apart easily, I would still purchase it, as it is just fun to build it to begin with.

I love FunWhole
FunWhole products are always my favorites! They are fun, great quality, and are filled with details! I’ve never had any missing pieces or errors with FunWhole. I love when I finish and can finally light it up. And the best part is that there are no stickers, all printed pieces! It looks great with the rest of my Wild West town.
