Molex Micro-Fit 3.0โข Dual Row (6 Circuits) Male & Female Receptacle Plug, w/Terminal sockets, (Pack of 3 Complete Set): desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific Review: Works perfectly - Works exactly as it should. Having been in the electronics assembly/repair business for over 35 years the only reason I can imagine for all the bad reviews is using the wrong crimp tool or not accurately loading the pins in the tool properly. Review: Perfect fit for my height adjustable desk motor cable - I purchased a height adjustable desk from Facebook marketplace which was missing a cable connecting two motors. With a combination of Cat6 ethernet cable and Molex Micro-fit 3.0, now I can adjust the desk height :) thank you for great product.

Hard to work with at first but a little trial and error and they work as intended.
Connectors are of ok quality the terminal pins are hard to install but after a little trial and error was able to get a set put together and tested with good continuity with a volt meter.

Not too good..
the plugs themselves may be ok, but the pins are horrible.. Have no "spring" to them so when you insert them, they dont want to lock in place. Tried every which way to get them to insert, but it was just a total fight from the start.. would not suggest these. have used much smaller plugs and pins and never had these locking issues.

Tesla RS485 cable.....this did the trick
Needed to make my own RS485 cable for a tesla powerwall/Neurio system. Helps that I had a molex 3.0 crimper on hand! Perfect.

Genuine molex
I was wiring up a 3d printer toolhead and needed small connectors, i could have bought from somewhere like digikey or mouser. But these were cheaper overall when you factor prime shipping. Also I purchased a microfit kit from elsewhere but it didn't have 6 pin 2x3 so ended up grabbing these. They were genuine and same as the ones that came in my kit quality wise. You'll need some crimpers with these. I used IWISS IWS-2820M AWG 28-20 crimpers (B078WNZ9FW) and all went well

Works on Neptune DOS
Great for making a jumper for the Neptune Apex DOS to trick it into showing the DDR tile.

Poor pin fitment and broken clips.
I bought a set of these for a small project that needed a 6-pin disconnect option for a linear actuator cable with some 22ga wiring; tldr is that they didn't work for me. Upon arrival and unpacking, I noticed that one of the clips on one of the female housings was broken (always sucks when extra pieces fall out of the bag); Amazon made it right by shipping a replacement set (arrived intact) but when I went to pin one of the housings I found that the pins were WAY too difficult to insert. No exaggeration: it was literally impossible to get them seated with the small 22ga wires in my project; an 18ga wire barely had enough rigidity to push the pin into the housing, but that wire diameter was too large for the crimp slot on the pin. Haven't really had this issue in the past, so I don't really know what caused it aside from a size mismatch between the pin and the housing. I ended up using a small Sumitomo connector that was slightly too large, but the pins slipped right into place and locked solidly; the rest of these connectors went directly into the garbage because it wasn't even worth repacking and returning them. Bottom line: be careful on these if you're working with anything smaller than 20ga.
