typecase Edge Magic-Style Magnetic Keyboard Case for iPad Pro 13 M5/M4

I’ve tried several keyboard cases over the years, and this Typecase Keyboard Case for the Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M5, 2025) is easily one of my favorites. The fit is precise, the keyboard feels responsive and comfortable for long writing sessions, and the trackpad works surprisingly well. What impressed me most is how sturdy and premium the case feels without making the iPad overly bulky. The multiple viewing angles are excellent for typing, reading, streaming, and even video calls. The backlit keyboard is a great touch, especially when working late at night. This keyboard works wonderfully with my new iPad Pro 13 inch. I love the fact that it has many colors to select from for the keyboard and the light can be dimmed. Battery life has been solid, connectivity has been smooth, and everything paired quickly with no issues. It really transforms the iPad into a laptop-style setup while still keeping the flexibility of a tablet. If you use your iPad for productivity, writing, meetings, or travel, this case is absolutely worth considering. Very satisfied with the purchase.

My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy, almost like carrying my MacBook pro around. Other than that, the key board is amazing as I love the backlighting color choices, the touchpad is very responsive. It doesn't take long to charge and I find that I get at least a week and a half of use before charging ( I use this everyday for long periods). It's like having a second laptop.

Works as described. I like all the features in the product description. I can sit the ipad on my lap and create digital content while the room is quiet and it is dark outside. While Claude AI is busy putting my many small pieces of prompts together, I can leave the iPad upright on the keyboard while I shower and get ready for the day. This keyboard-touchpad combo and iPad holder meets my needs almost perfectly. I deducted a star because the problem is when using Claude AI, I cannot scroll down to read the Artifact using the touchpad or page keys. I had to send the Artifact as a Note and read the Arrifact as a Note. This action wasted time and defeated the purpose of having a keyboard with a built-in mousepad. I would appreciate the design team correcting this design flaw because we are in a new technological age using new software tools. I use this item to read from my iPad. I sit it to the side when streaming video. I noticed that if I tilt the iPad a little too much, the entire setup tips over and often times the iPad falls off. There’s not enough weight on the keyboard to keep the bottom part stable. But wait! If I touch the iPad surface, I get a scrollbar and can scroll up and down. The reality is that I am spoiled. I’ve learned to use the touch pad on a laptop. I deducted a point. Because this keyboard is specific to this version of iPad, I’d like to see this statement about how to scroll in the product photos at the top of the Amazon page that says we may need to touch the screen to scroll. To be clear, I have not found a way to scroll when there is a screen inside a screen. I have just now figured out a key to using this keyboard. I didn't deduct another point, but I’ve learned: Don’t adjust the angle of the iPad by grabbing the bottom or the I pad will suddenly fall off and drop hard. The safe place to tilt is about 3 inches from the bottom. Would I purchase this product again? Now that I know how to use it, yes. Would I recommend this product to friends and family? Maybe. I think kids would adapt to the quirks faster and would love selecting colors of the keyboard. Perhaps I have a taller body and need the iPad to have a strong tilt without flipping over. For petite people and kids this product is a definite yes. It would make a thoughtful gift. Be sure you know exactly the size of the intended iPad. Happy shopping!

Perfect and it has taken many tumbles no damage to iPad.

Case was decent quality but the screen only tilted to one static position that leaves at an awkward angle. On the product page, it looked like the screen was higher than it was when I actually got it. The case does not allow you to position the screen in any other position other than the one low very forward leaning position. I returned it and opted for a keyboard case that allowed more maneuverability in the screen. For the price point, I expected more from this case - in particular, better screen positioning.

its not the Apple Magic Keyboard by no means but the Build quality is good feels good battery is good fits great and its stable

Keyboard is too light so it always ‘tips backward. Keyboard has to be charged separately and doesn’t hod a charge very for long. It doesn’t light up in one color, but changes color all the time even from sentence to sentence. The closure flap is nice.

Item arrived quickly, was as described in the ad and works well with my iPad 13". Still getting used to the keyboard but it has a light touch and is easy to work with.

Se ve como un magic keyboard pero tiene diferencias como los colores de la retroiluminación. Creo que le falta tener un indicador adecuado del estado de la batería... el que se pudiera cargar directamente a través del iPad... pero por el precio realmente es un excelente producto.
