My husband loves fishing and this telescopic fishing kit is a really good gift idea. He got so excited when I gave it to him! It doesn't take much space in the house and it contains all the bits (fishing hooks, rod and lures) to practice his hobby. We usually go camping around water areas and this set it's comfortable to carry it with us.

Bought as a gift for a family member who loves fishing but travels alot hence the need for a telescopic rod.it arrived very promptly and we were all delighted by the quality of the entire set. It has been used many times since purchase and the owner is very pleased with the whole kit and we highly recommend this fishing kit.

I have used this product on 3 occasions. Today I used the rod and the top three eyes came off. Also the bottom Gold coloured bottom piece fell off. Very disappointed with the product. Unusable now. Sad that I paid almost £40 and o ly got to use it Three times. I hope you can help

Did not have reel or line that should have been with it. But was very happy with quility of what we did receive just hoping they sent the rest. So can go fishing

I bought this fishing kit last week and used it for the first time today. The first point to mention is the rod eyes need to be checked and re-glued before use. This is a manufacturing fault where they use the shellac coating to fix the rod eyes and this is not strong enough. Having said that I've come across this fault on other lower cost telecopic rods, so this brand is not unique in having this problem. While you have your glue out also put a dab on the handle butt end as this unscrewed while I was using it and as it does not have to be unscrewed it is best to make sure it does unscrew with a dab of glue. The line provided is heavy duty, which is OK if your just spinning but if you intend to use it for float fishing then you'll need a much lighter line. This is particularly important if you are intending to give this to young inexperienced angler as this heavy line will so tangle up on the reel. Having send all that the rod is pretty responsive and the reel has a good action. I found casting easy and the distances achieved pretty good. The rod is pretty light and I didn't tire over a couple of hours fishing. All in all I'm pretty pleased with the purchase and plan to buy another.

Poor quality. Running repairs to eyes & ends out of box

i got the 2.1m version. comes with some decent rubber lures. went to local river to test it out and managed to catch a small pike, so can't complain. a little too rigid to be used as a spinning so harder to cast. still doable evidently. good luck 🎣
