Bought this for my husband to use on his new griddle. It works great and is easy to use. It does provide protection for the cast iron. It stores easy and made the cleaning process easy. It lasts and fits on the shelf with his other products. You don't need to use a lot after cooking to keep the griddle protected.

It works good but for what it costs I think olive oil would do the just fine
