Counting
Great for counting and making tens. Within twenty minutes my five year old was recognizing the colored block as the number. We use the blocks to do the common core math homework my kid brings home each night and to play "I See 10!" the counting game.

Helpful Math Manipulative
These colorful blocks really helped my child with multiplication and skip counting. Highly recommended for any child that needs a hands on visual aid while learning their math facts!

Decent quality
A few of them don't stick together, but otherwise a decent product.

Slightly off on evenness with other rods. Slip off of each other
When the child lays the rods down next to each other the "6" rod is slightly longer making the rods look uneven so the adult has to explain that they are, indeed, equal. They don't stick together when in the vertical position if you are working on numbers in the twenties or higher. The rods are an awesome manipulative for math so I will buy another brand.

Five Stars
Perfect rods for homeschool. A bit smaller than expected, but still a good resource to start a homeschool.

A big hit with my 5 year old
My five year old boy loves 'playing' with these rods. I bought a range of maths equipment to use with him at home and these were by far the most popular. (They were so popular that I had to buy some more when the dog ate one of the single white blocks leaving him with only 49!)

Helpful for maths concepts
These are great They can be connected for addition and are split into squares to show their amount. I use them when working with pupils with special needs and they are a great concrete tool for addition, subtraction and recognising quantities and comparing them.

Useful
Bit pricey (hence the 4 stars) but a useful learning resource. I bought for my 5 yr old & he loves them...aside from helping him visualise times tables or addition he like to play with them too ! So all round good but.
