deer were eating my new trees. put these on and they were not able to get to them. they work perfectly.

These are actually a good product BUT they are delivered rolled up the narrow direction and are practicably impossible to unroll and then reroll the 47" way!That being said, I used them the short direction and just connected sets together to get the height I wanted to protect the trees from rabbits.On the plus side what makes them hard to reroll (heavy duty wire) makes them a great product to protect the plants.They have tie-wraps and good ground stakes AND a pair of gloves to protect your hands from some of the sharp edges.

I was looking for tree protectors that are 40”+ high. What I received was a roll of wire mesh, rolled tightly about 18” high, and a bunch of zip ties. If you want a hobby project— could be 3-4 stars, but if you just want some tree protection, 1 star.

I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive these PRIOR to our most recent heavy snow to be able to take some good outdoor pics of the set-up process, but they did arrive a tad bit earlier than what the seller original listed as the delivery date, so that was nice. So, I can only review the item received. The fencing appears to be fairly heavy, and sturdy. The seller includes an extra pair of gloves for use during handling (there are some sharp edges along the edge of the roll of fencing), but I might suggest using a bit heavy glove due to those sharper edge cuts. The seller provides heavy duty metal pins to anchor the roll, and also zip ties to make quick work of the seams. I suspect this set of tree guards will be a great addition to our fruit trees located outside the fenced in orchard area, especially. The thickness of the fencing and sturdiness of the fencing seems like it would hold up well against deer rubbing antlers or body parts along the fencing, and also prevent root chewing animals from getting near to the base of the tree. For the price, I think they are a great deal for anyone wishing to protect younger fruit trees, especially. And, these are LARGE enough, to protect medium size fruit tree trunks, as well, with plenty of room to spare!

I have seedlings of different sizes that need protection. These mesh guards came in a roll, which looked intimidating at first, but they unrolled nicely. The sizes were good for me; not too large, not too small. If you have something round to unroll them onto, it helps; I used my porch railing. They did not fight me; it was easy for me to unbend the panels. Since they came with tie wraps, I had the choice of stacking them. They also came with six inch staples, longer than I'm used to with a point on the bottom. These little things do help. The protectors did the job!

Each tree guard included is quite large. It could be expanded to fit a larger tree or bush, or can wrap around itself a couple times for a very small sapling. Actually, if you are using them for small trees, you could even cut these if you have a wire snip, and have 2x as many. I'll be planting some tiny bare root saplings from the arbor day foundation and I want to be sure I don't accidentally mow or weedwack them. These are a sturdy kind of wire metal mesh - very strong. They came well packaged. I'm pleased with them.

This mesh I'd vert durable. I wrapped around the trunks of my fruit tress and have had good results. The wire guage is a little thick and hard to cut. A good deal.

The package contained only the mesh fencing material. It was missing the stakes, gloves, and zip ties mentioned in the product listing. Additionally the mesh fencing has this very strange tacky coating applied to it. Finally, the mesh was broken in several places where some weld/solder failed.
