I'm new to archery, look for different brands and different bows. I go through a lot of articles and watched YouTube to find better bow. Finally decide to settle on the lightning #30 recurve. I just got this two years ago and it looks and feels like it's extremely well made. My skills are very raw to say the least, I can review about the product of design, and packing, what things come with. Cause I am addicted to amazon, already buy a number of goods in here. Let’s talk about the design first, beautiful work of art, very obvious care was taken to design and build it. It will last a long time, never fail me, and maybe even be handed down to a new generation. For the packing, it come with very hard solid box. It looks like this company has effort to the packing, it is very wise judgment. In the box, something big plastic form cover the product. It seems like usage for protect the product, and be a double protecter. There is a riser, two limbs, a bowstring, two pieces of fur arrow rest, a bow stringer, archery armguard. I am very surprise they give a lot of accessories in reasonable price. Lastly, the grip is very comfortable to me. There is also an instruction manual, which is easy to understand and assemble for a novice like me. The bow feels great in my hands and is nice to shoot. I'll update my review after I have more experience with this bow.

I’ve been shooting traditional for 18 years. This little bow is an awesome target bow and shoots as good as my 1500 bows. Perfect for beginners and experienced target archers as well and for the money you can’t go wrong.I will be taking this bow to the woods for deer season this year as well.

We loved the box it came with, very stylish and well thought out. I was able to assemble it fine being that I am completely new to this. The bow itself looks great, just like the pictures. When stringing, I was very cautious at first with all that tension but found a video online with someone walking through the process of getting it done. Other than that, we enjoy the bow and even the kids can use it. Excited! Now all I need to know is how to properly store it so the string stays in good conditionI hope this helps,Blessings!

For the price, the bow is decent. It's very similar to my Samick Sage but a lot cheaper. Unfortunately it didn't include all the accessories listed and there is no way to contact the manufacturer through Amazon which is odd.Update: the seller reached out and addressed the issue, so I'm happy with my purchase.

Absolutely beautiful bow! The woodwork amazed me the second I opened the box! This kit was complete and ready to go. I didn’t have to buy anything extra. It even came with the arrows ready to go! I’ve never shot a recurve bow until today but really really like this bow. It felt nice in my hand and balanced. I’ve shot a lot of compound bows so this is a bit of a challenge to learn but looking forward to it. I was able to get on target pretty quick. Very very easy to shoot! I got the 40# weight based on a friends recommendation. I normally shoot 65# on my compound. I might have maybe went with 45# but too early to really tell. The bow is super smooth to shoot!

The media could not be loaded.  My 30# R-hand bow was packaged very well. Simple to assemble. Instructions included in packaging. Everything you need is in the box, except server string to attach the cat whiskers. I own more expensive bows, but the Lightning Archery takedown recurve performs as well any of my bows! SET THE BRACE HEIGHT. It was loud and twangy without adjusting the brace height & bowstring. Once I set it up at 8” it was very quiet. I got to shoot it yesterday and found it very consistent. The arrows that came with it are great for practice (or possibly competition.). I own very similar and always use then for practice. Yes, I would use an arrow with changeable points to hunt small game with this bow.Ultimately, this beautiful Lighting Archery 30# archery kit is a fantastic for the price.
