Works with Home Assistant and Smartthings. *by M***O on January 6, 2026* I had issues connecting these using the provided instructions (get out your microscope) until I realized I was using the wrong app. The SmartLife - Smart Living android app the QR code took me to did not work, and I was getting ready to return them. Turns out there are a number of SmartLife apps. The one that worked for me was the: "Tuya - Smart Life, Smart Living" app with the red 'T" icon version 7.1.5. Once I installed that app the device was quickly detected and installed. I was able to integrate with both Home Assistant and SmartThings using the User Code (Settings>Account and Security>User Code). The magnets are weak and require close alignment. I had to add small blocks to build them up.
