Except for the ones I devoured, the rest got frozen. These Barracuda tongs were the perfect tool for gently lifting blanched peaches out of boiling water and carry to an ice bath. Not one bruised, as this has been an issue with metal tongs, and the silicone tipped tongs would slip and drop a peach back into the boiling water. The Barracuda tongs were the right size, even for the larger peaches. I came to them by chance while visiting a friend's home, and saw that she used these tongs for pasta. I may try that, although I don't really have a need. The name of the company is stamped and hard to read on the side of one of the metal arms. I used a magnifier to read the name, and there was no other information. I didn't know what they were called, so I search online with the manufacturer's name and had to follow to see what the company made until I found a picture, and searched again where to find them. Thank goodness for Amazon. Living in a small and remote town, online shopping for unusual items is the rule of the day. Otherwise, I prefer to shop and support local. Well done to "TNK", the company that made these Barracuda Tongs. But, please put more info on the item so they will be easier to find. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Idea.... *by R***W on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2019* I like it, but I don’t love it. It does work great for pastas, but it is just a little big and cumbersome for me to absolutely love it. The idea is great though. One utensil for many uses is a good idea, and I do use it often .. . but it is just a bit too large. ### ⭐⭐ Not great *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2022* Good idea and tong arms are good. BUT, THE claw/cup grips dont get the job done. They ate hard plastic, dont fit together well for scooping and liquid runs thorough. The grippers should be silicone instead.
