This is a great RC tank. Steering and speed are fully proportional so turning the controller slightly turns the tank slightly while a full turn spins it sharply. The tank speed works in the same manner and is proportional to the amount of throttle applied in forward or reverse. The motor is more than adequate with a lot of torque - this is a tank so it's not a speed demon but is plenty fast. The only issue I had is that I was sent the wrong color (ordered the tan version but received gray) but not worth the hassle to send back. Lights on the front and back are very nice and the battery lasts a while before needing a recharge. If it proves to be durable and lasts there is not much more you can ask for at this price point! A second battery is also included (the first is already installed in the tank).

Right when I saw the picture of this pop up while randomly searching RC tanks I thought it was fake just for the level of detail, plus the pictures almost look computer generated and not of the actual unit.I’m 37 and have been involved with hobby-grade remote controlled vehicles of all types, so I know the difference between that and toy-grade or the old Toys R Us type RC vehicles. This Ripsaw replica has awesome detail! It includes everything that is stated and is quick! Simple to control vs some other RC tanks that I’ve tried or currently own. The light bar works and has so many different light modes that I was honestly in awe at the effort put in this vehicle. For the price and shipping time this is just a great value and if you are a fan of the real life Ripsaw then you will love this thing.The ONLY con I’ve noticed (taking all other factors into consideration) is the suspension. It’s too stiff on the three centered road wheels, so they basically don’t function. Fortunately they can be taken apart and have softer springs added, which I did and now it looks so cool driving over things with the suspension in action! BUT even with that fixed the wheels, wheel arms, and ground clearance make this capable of quite a bit more suspension travel than these shocks provide (the travel is laughable on these crappy little things). To remedy this I got some 1/24 RC rock crawler shocks that have more travel and install them.Overall, of course it could be better, BUT not with the price in consideration. When considering the price this things is too good to be true honestly. I love it and want to buy the other color version as well.

I do a lot of reviews on a bunch of different types of RC cars and trucks so it is nice to change it up a bit and take the time to mess around with this RC tank. It does not disappoint - the first thing that impresses me is the agressive styling of this tank. It is of great size and really performs on a wide variety of different terrain types. I have been putting it through its paces in the backyard and it has negotiated everything that I have thrown at it. There is no trouble in tall grass, branches, climbing over rocks, etc.The product itself will come with the vehicle, RC controller, two batteries with standard USB charger and the instruction manual. The vehicle is able to rotate or pivot 360 degrees which allows for some pretty extreme versaility in handling. I think this vehicle would be fine for younger and older users a like - it really is a ton of fun. I think the asking price is just about on par with what I would expect and it appears to be well built. Approx 1:18 scale I Managed to squeeze the upper torso of a Gi Joe figure inside to make it look like it has a driver! It scales well with GI Joe 3.75 figures. I’ve been really enjoying playing with this tank inside the house. It is very maneuverable in tight spots and zippy.

Nephew was beyond happy with this on Christmas the lights the instant torque has everything for you need to make a kid happy . 10/10 would recommend

runs over just about everything in the yard, so much fun

boy age 7 loves this tank. We have set up an army base in the yard with a dirt tank test track. He plays constantly with the tank using his imagination on how the tank can maneuver in the test track. Track has come off a couple of times, but he has no trouble putting it back on and continuing his play.
