A fairly simple, straightforward product from a known brand. Cannot complain. No app or software necessary. Easy to set up. Solid quality. Gets the job done. And great controls for it to be as bright or dim as you may need it. All the controls are on the light itself. Set it and forget it.

Makes me look much better on video calls for work. Dead simple to set and forget. I use on very minimum settings, light can be very powerful for dark rooms. For best stability, connect to USB power in wall, not in a computer or hub. The light draws enough power that on some hubs, it will periodically power down and turn back on again. I would recommend this to anybody streaming or working from home.

I run a YT channel and also am a guest on other people's live streams. While the majority of my content doesn't require my face to be on camera, when I do interviews and guest appearances, I always want to come across with decent quality.I initially picked up the Elgato Neo Key light to go with my Elgato Neo webcam and mic for a specific nightime appearance I had on a stream. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I was impressed by the brightness and liked that I could adjust the tint and brightness all on the unit directly. I then installed the Elgato Control Center software and was amazed at the level of adjustments it had through the software.When I first bought it, I thought I was getting a key light with slight adjustments, but turns out this item has much more to it.It has resulted in me needing it as my only light. It brightens up my face and brings me into the forefront while still showcasing my background in a somewhat dim, yet viewable image. I'm super happy with the outcome.There is one little piece that may be a drawback to others and that's the monitor mount for it. It works great on my monitor, but it's basically a swivel u-brace. If you need to aim it down, you may have a stability issue with it, but it also has a standard screw on it so you could use a regular telescoping stand or boom arm for it.Overall I've been super happy with it and remains the keylight that I use in conjunction with my Elgato Neo Cam

If you have your monitor on a riser, which you should so you don’t have neck pain, you cannot angle this to light your face. It falls off the monitor. I even tried beefing up the stand with double sided tape. And Velcro. It WANTS to fall down if it’s not straight up and down. Otherwise I love all things Elgato.

The monitor mount isn't the best for my curved monitor, but with some gorilla tape it stay put nicely without the fear of light damaging my keyboard.
