Is it battery operated and if so where canat the battery be replaced?

Good morning, If you scroll down to the description you will see near the bottom of the list that the movement states Quartz. This is battery operated. While you watch is under warranty you will need to get the battery replaced by our Service Centre in Essex because if you don't it will invalidate your warranty. After this time you are able to get it replaced at any jewellers that provide this service. Kind regards The Rotary Team

What is the black strap that comes with it do you know if this is sold seperetely?

Hi The watch comes with two straps. The brown leather one and an additional black rubberized strap, so you can change the look of the watch.
