The upright channels are aluminum but the base and top bars are steel. Plenty of hardware is included. The rack is a bit wider than most since the holes are drilled near the inner edge of the channels. That makes the clearly printed numbers visible after components are installed. The only problem I encountered was the channels were painted after the holes were tapped so screws are difficult to insert.
