Surprisingly strong magnetic hold. The 80lb hold is so strong that it takes a bit of force to pop them off the wall. If you don't have strong hand strength it might be a struggle. (My method was to use the hook to leverage/tip the magnet off at an angle, you won't be able to just pull straight off, if that makes sense?) I used these on a cruise. They came in really handy to keep our cabin orderly. It held a beach bag filled with some items in it securely hung; another held my windbreaker and hat, for example. The cabin walls of cruise ships are metal. Ours were coated with what felt like vinyl wallpaper so there were no marks left on the walls (which I had worried about). The balcony door frame was uncoated metal and the magnetic contact was crazy strong that I recommend applying the clear stickers provided to prevent scratching painted or direct metal surfaces. I had to use a strong lever (a waiter's corkscrew I had in my travel pack) to pry the magnet off of the door frame! An empty Altoids mint is metal and can fit all 10 magnets and hooks perfectly. The hooks need to be screwed into the base to use and can be unscrewed to fit into the can.

The quality of the construction is excellent, featuring a robust, durable coating on the hook itself. The ease of installation (literally just sticking them to a magnetic surface) combined with their incredible strength makes them invaluable for maximizing vertical storage space. These work great and are super strong! I use them at work to hang various items as well as at home to help train vines on my balcony railing.

Much smaller than I anticipated, but very strong magnets!

Bought to use on cruise. Smaller than expected, but strong. Sticks well to cabin walls. Due to the small size, you cannot hold multiple items. But able to hang all the items we intended to (shirts, swimsuits, lanyards, hats, handbags)

Smaller than I thought (3/4” to 1”diameter), but still very strong and worked very well for the intended purpose of hanging up a curtain to cover a specific area. I honestly did not look at the description to see how small they were so that’s on me. If you put them on a flat surface they do it slip. I’m happy with the quality of this product.
