I bought this to make some chocolate bars for gifting. The silicone mold itself is not very sturdy so I had to put it on a cookie sheet to kept it from bending with my first layer of chocolate. I was nervous about it bending and breaking my final product so I left the molds on the cookie sheet for the entire process because I kept moving them to the refrigerator for cooling. The silicone was easy to remove from the bars once set. I didn’t have any breakage! The bars came out perfect and look so professional! The silicone tray was a breeze to clean and store. I've made chocolates in these and they are SO easy to make with this mold. They are small, think, a little bit thicker than say 2 Crunch bars together (if you remember those, unsure if they are even still around). They did not make the chocolate taste any different, which is a plus. It's very a very flexible mold and I had NO problem cleaning it. I've put them in the freezer and they were still functional and durable. I can't think of any negatives with this besides my own fault of not realizing how much smaller they are. So if you're looking for a dubai type mold - this isn't it, but if you're making a smaller version of it then this COULD be it. If you're looking to make a bar of chocolate and then maybe mix almonds, or M&Ms or peppermint or even a small layer of peanut butter to make a reeses type bar, this is definitely something to reach for, because it's got the perfect amount of chocolate space vs filling space.
