My daughter loved this set. She is always going though sketch books with he 8y/o imagination, which means she goes though pencils as well. She has been enjoying this set for a month nearly daily.

This set is great for beginners. The quality is pretty good, and I appreciate that. The tablets are small but workable. This set would make an excellent gift for the holidays.

A good assortment with some oddities. The pencils have clearly been sharpened with a craft knife (angles on the graphite), but the set comes with a couple rotary pencil sharpeners (one plastic, one metal) so that won't last. The charcoal sticks are marked Soft and Medium (useful). The charcoal pencils are unsharpened; the woodless pencil is sharpened, I think also craft knife style (though the angles are finer). Note that the sketchpads are NOT hardcover; a nice solid back, but the cover is thin card. Also they're sketchpads (hinged at the top) rather than sketchbooks (hinged on the side). The paper is very nice - just off-white, heavy, and a nice tooth. The whole lot, except the sketchpads, are contained in a plastic fitting - despite having a handle at the top, not exactly a case, but useful for holding them separate (and containing the charcoal dust...); it also had a cardboard box, but that's so soft it's not worth using. Not exactly what I was expecting, but a nice collection.

Bought this set for my 8 yr old Grandson who is an artist. He goes through copious amounts of papers, pens, markers, etc., so whenever I find an interesting kit or set I get it for him. He loved this one! All the pencils in various hardness, the charcoals, and of course, the precious sketch pads! The paper is not heavyweight, but it’s good for sketching and writing. He loves it and I would recommend it for anyone who loves to stretch or draw.

Good quality material. Great for beginners or kids. Good amount of utensil. Good beginner set. Good value for money. All things function well.

This is a steal for the under $10 price. There is a complete selection of drawing pencils and charcoals. This is great for the beginning artist that wants to explore the world of drawing. The two drawing pads are a nice size. At this price point you don't get professional quality supplies, nor should you expect that, but you do get a set that encourages you to practice without worrying that you are using expensive paper. The plastic case that the pencils and erasers come in it great for containing the supplies and charcoal dust. Even though the set comes with two pencil sharpeners, I would suggest getting one that contains the shavings.

Overall good Quality drawing set. Comes with a lot and easy to use for beginners. Good deal 👌
