Usually when I buy something like this at Amazon, I start by buying the one that is so cheaply made as to be useless, which means that I have to return it and buy the better one that I should have bought in the first place. This time, I got it right the first time, and saved myself (and Amazon) from a hassle. These cables are excellent in every way. And because two polarity reversers are included, the connectivity within the cable is not important. The only thing that you might want to be different is that you might want for the 5.5mm x 2.1mm coaxial connector to be male rather than female. The male is the one with exposed metal around the outside and without a pin in the middle. The one with the pin in the middle is the female. If you are uncertain which one you need, one way to solve that is to also buy a couple of short male-to-male coaxial adapters.With DC power, there is rarely a scenario where you do not have to check the polarity to make certain that it is correct for what you are doing. You need to have a small DVM or DC polarity checker of some sort. And in general, you need to have the polarity reversers handy, which are included with these SAE to coaxial adapters.When you check the polarity at the coaxial connector, you need to check it at a male connector, for the simple reason that there is no way to make reliable probe contact at the female end. For this reason, the other version of this adapter, with the male half of the coaxial connector, will be better except in cases where a male-to-male coaxial converter will be used for whatever reason.

My bike came with a battery tender cord pre-installed so when I picked up a heated jacket that had a barrel connector, I needed this cable. It ended up being the perfect length for me, including when standing on the pegs. Not sure if I will need the reverse polarity connector but it's nice to have it just in case. No concerns with quality and it works. That's 5*

Does not work with power bank that has female socket. The included adapter is for converting from female DC7909 to female DC8020. Couldn't find any male to male DC7909 couplers, which would add some flexibility to this kit.

Most portable solar panels with DC output ports are easily connected to most power stations that have built in charge controllers. However when directly charging a battery I like to use a charge controller to protect the battery which often requires an SAE connection which this converter cable provides.

I use different connectors for my solar setup from time to time and this was just what I needed for my camping set up of solar panels.This links to my portable foldable solar panels and hooked up to my jackey system to harness the power of the sun!.Very happy with my purchase.

There isn't much to say about this adaptor set. It works as advertised and is easy to use. One end is SAE and the other is DC7909. There is a polarity reverse adapter, a 5.5mm x 2.5mm, and and 8mmx2.0mm adapter. With this set I can use it for both of my solar generators.Length is about six feet of #14awg. The SAE works with my HF solar panels with no issue. One may cut this off and use MC4 connectors that is more universal. Either way, this is a good value complimenting my appliances. Price is good and I recommend it.
