Classic
I was surprised to find this came in two parts, and even more surprised that it still works great even with that weakness introduced. I was worried it would be flimsy because of the joint but it works just fine. People like to use massagers(and yes percussion massagers are great) but sometimes the classics are still great. This is awesome for targeting stubborn knots in hard to reach places. Yes, its not as efficient as using an electric massager but there are many places that can be hard or uncomfortable to reach. Holding a massager on the back of your own neck or on the small of your back for a long period can almost end up causing you more pain so with this tool you can reach them comfortably without that stress. You can work out the worst knots without straining and then do a quick pass with the massager after to relax everything. Great tool.

It broke the fist time I used it
It snapped in half the first time I used it. Instead of returning, I drilled and installed a metal rod to hold the two pieces together, and it does a great job of working out the knots.

Goofy shape but feels pretty good
This came with a booklet of photos showing how to use this on different body parts. YMMV based on physiology, but it was helpful for getting started. This is made from a very sturdy plastic and seems well made enough to allow for sufficient force to be used where needed (don't use full force until you know that's what your body needs). Pressing too hard hurts in places, but there's definitely a nice sense of relaxation after.
